I think that as long as it was just like some ninja chopping off my head real quick It wouldn't bother me. Although you live for like 5 seconds before you die, but seeing my own body headless would be kind of cool. |
|
I'm not afraid of death. I'm excited to get an answer to that old bothersome question, "What comes next?" I am afraid of dying. I'm afraid it will be painful for me, and heartbreaking for everyone I know. |

I'm not afraid of death. I'm afraid of dying. |

I actually look forward to death, solving into eternity. Not that I want to die, definitely not! I love life to much. It just is something I definitely want to experience, in about hundred years or so. |

What's the difference between dreaming that you're lucid and lucid dreaming?
As a child i was, but threw my life i've come to realize we don't actually die, even if we don't reincarnate or go to heaven or anything else our body is energy that is forever and endlesly cycled, and our minds are a part of a universal mind... and i don't think the universal mind dies when a single person does so it must go on atleast in a dream state. I only fear the action of dying... also think about this: When you die you become nutrients in the soil, say a strawberry bush grows over your body and absorbs that nutrients and uses it to make a berry, say a person eats that berry and some of the nutrients gained is used in the human to create a sex cell, that new person has some of you in them, you never actually die. This awareness passes and we no longer observe the universe as a single entity. That's the gift of life uniqueness... |

"MementoMori, the lucid machine"
"There's nothing better than knowing what it's like to fly like superman. Being fully aware of the air whipping by you, controlling every movement of every single atom in your body with a single thought. It's real freedom, and there's not a word good enough to describe it, so I'll just call it dreamy for now."
Your whole body regenerates every 7 years, so already you have shared all your body's molecules with the world a couple of times. |

I'm only afraid of death if there's something after it. I've always felt this way. |

The starz...
The planets...
The intricate and dynamic machinery of nature...
Are you saying,
that all of this was created,
BY A MONKEY??????
Hell obviously if it exists, but firstly I'm afraid of the scientific implications (because it seems to screw them up). But also, I would just be chucked out into the spirit world like a lost child not knowing what to do. And if some entity found me, how would I know how to trust them? The hard truth is that there is literally no way to trust anything you meet there. For all you know they are all out to get you. At least on Earth you know that few people have such intentions. |

Afraid of death? I scoff in the face of death! |

I don't fear death. Death is simple and common. I fear a global apocalypse or the downfall of human civilization as we know it. |

DILDs: A Lot
I have another question for everybody. Could you be perfectly calm with a loaded gun held up to your head by a known killer? In that situation, painful death and awareness of the dying process are not threats. You just very well might die, and you won't even know you're dying. It would be sudden. Who can stay calm and have peace of mind in that situation? Could you genuinely laugh at a joke? |
|
How do you know you are not dreaming right now?
i can say beyond a shadow of a doubt that...: If i were in the position to defend myself i would because i would like to see how my son grows into a man. I would also like to finish my book and see how it fairs amongst today's society. But, if i were unable to defend myself or knew i wouldn't be quick enough to in the moment i would be thankful of the 21 years I've had so far, laugh to myself and close my eyes and smirk because i know I'm about to get an answer to the biggest question ever asked... |

But he said that you lost nothing. You lost alot, you're just back to your original state. However you did not lose nothing, you lost what you had gained, and although you have already dealt with and conquered having nothing, you did in fact lose everything you had upon death's approach. |

honestly in my point of view nothing is "mine" in life I'm simply living in borrowed space on borrowed time with borrowed stuff, that will be someone else's someday or thrown away.... the only thing that truly is yours is your consciousness and that is what would be taken from you, so i wouldn't be afraid of death, i'd be pissed that the person or situation is taking what isn't there's... |
