What if you had unlimited power?

What if, regardless of how it happened, you assumed the divine power of "a" or "the" Omnipotent Being. Not it's knowledge, awareness, or anything like that - but simply the power to bend anything or create/destroy anything in your present existence. Essentially, whatever your thoughts concentrated on, it could happen.

What would you do with such power? Would you help humanity? Would you leave Earth? What would you do?

Just you can't create unlimited knowledge or awareness, OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT...and it has to be triggered by your consciously directed thoughts.

The reason why such knowledge and awareness would be kept away is because with that knowledge, you would have a different perception on reality and how to use unlimited power and probably would use it in a different way - which then would nullify the need for me to bring up this question. The point of my question is to just see what people would do with their imagination if they could bend reality, is all. =)

I would quickly throw that power away, before it would consume me or irreparable damage would be done.

You see, without the awareness and knowledge required for such thing, the chance of anything positive coming out of it would be futile.

There is a good reason humans don't have such power, it should stay so.

I would also raise Atlantis from the Pacific for kicks, and then leave Earth for a while.

I would get bored and my life would become completely hollow. At least I could do whatever I wanted. Too bad there is no one or nothing to challenge me, so the outcome cannot be anything else but boring.

Oh I had a great idea, I know exactly what I would do. I would wait for Obama to give his state of the union address. Then I would make it so that he has to tell everyone the entire truth of what is going on in this country and make it so he could not spin or hide anything. Then I would sit back and watch the show. I would also make it so no one could interrupt them. Then from that point on, I would make it so not only do all politicians speak the truth, they have to answer all questions asked of them(excluding personal things with no relevence to their office).

I would make that the case in all countries in the world as well, not just the US.
