I started this Idea in my mind and it got rather muttled. I will add the more refined principles of the idea soon. Today I will put down the bare minimum. Also I could then get some more ideas from the feed back.

Theory in short;

Time and consciousness are similar. They follow some of the same principles and neither are constants.
The two things we are dealing with Time

Time travels at 182,000 miles per second.

Electro chemical discharges from neurons. Speed;

What an EEG measures are not actual electromagnetic waves produced by individual neurons, but rather cycles and patterns of electrical activity in the brain.

Brainwaves are then better understood not as EM waves that travel near speed c (although EM waves may indeed be what the EEG detects), but are rather more like electrical signals traveling down a wire. When you graph the AC current that comes through your wall outlets, for example, you'll get a sinusoidal wave-- in fact, the amplituded of brainwaves are measured in volts, just like an electrical current. The speed of the signal is determined by the medium in which it travels. The medium in this case is not just electrical, but also chemical, which means that the signal travels at far less than the speed of light, but still pretty damn fast, especially considering the small distances involved.

As for electromagnetic waves in general: they don't travel at c = 186,000 mph all the time. That's their speed in a vacuum, but in a medium, they slow down.
The special relativity theory. > Time & space are intertwined.The faster an object moves, the slower time passes. The slower its motion, the faster the time.When the factor changes the other automatically adjusts. On such a large scale that it is hard for us to comprehend.

Time /gone/memory & consciousness/gone/memory.
But the basic concept is time is influenced by how fast c equals. And so would brain waves. Even if they are not going near the speed of light there is still a fluctuation.
Which leads me to this point.
IF your consciousness/subcosciousness can travel via way of astral projection then what limits its speed?
And as noted above the closer you get to the speed of light time slows down. Which in that case while you are on your journey to some astral plane your mind could be in a sense not aging as fast as your physical motionless body.
