God is evil and good, otherwise he ain't God, Free will and why are we here ?

So here is my first topic about spirit life and it deals with the nature of God.

I started to blame God for all the things evil that came over me since the spring of 2011, I was a Krishna devotee and when I noticed that he was before me and against me, I started to blame him for all the evil that had come over me and had come over me in the past.

I entered into a fight with him in my heart and drove him far and I mean far away from me, I started to worship sexy and lusty Morrigan, Celtic Goddess of War and Death.

I mean, there are religions who say that God has an evil side that has seperated itself from God, so in that case God is not anymore responsible for the evil actions of this material world, God is good !!

Another question might pop up now and that is why are we here in this material world in which we are sure to die, while our original constitution eternal is, we are eternal blissful souls who have nothing to do with this temporary pool of death called the material world.

I mean, somewhere up in those eternal worlds something happened that made us "fall down", but if the eternal worlds of happiness, undestructable worlds of pure bliss, knowledge, joy, being there unborn so undying, what makes us come down to these material worlds in which we suffer so much, if not we, than just watch the news for a while and discover other people who are suffering beyond anything, if not these people we see on the news, than take our friends or acquintences or friends of friends who have diseases or are killed or injured by some injustice we can call individual karma.

      How can that be ?

      What happened up there ?

Did we tell God we have enough of all the good times and we now are ready to undergo untold suffering compared to a little happiness we derive from the material world, like making money, saving for a new and big house, a nice car, a beautiful wife and nice kids we love but we cannot take with us when we die, so what's that love worth anyway ?

You get attached to these things and people and then cruel death comes to get us, leaving us in agony and panickstricken.

If the eternal worlds up there are eternal worlds of form anyway, why should we experience the perverted gross material and temporary state of it here on planet earth or for my sake anywhere in the material universe ?

Bottom line is......if we are happy, eternally happy, why come down here ?

Did God make us come down, was it an order ? Did we ask for it ourselves to do service for God on this planet to achieve something for him ? Was it a deal between us and God ?

That would not only make him perverted, but us as well !!!

We are all under the direction of God, so if he wants us to die from a terrible disease, he does so, if we try to see the good in it, like cleaning out our bad karma (which karma ? we come back to that later), then we can see it as something good because that bad stuff is gone and will not come back.
He can make us happy too by giving us material things, but best is of course to get the hell out of this material world, back home, back to God.

About karma and free will, personally I don't believe in free will, I believe God is directing everything in this, and countless other universes. I have learned in Krishna Consciousness that not a straw in the street is moving without his sanction.
So basicly Krishna is controling everything, that's why they call him Isvara, the great controler.

But if there is free will, we personally are responsible for our actions and we have to undergo the karma connected with it.

If I find out the answer to this question why we got here, than my life is succesfull.

      Any thoughts on this ?

I would like to say something from a non-religious point of view.

Has it occurred to you that there are multiple religions out there and not everyone has the same God? Some don't even have a God? So what happens to everyone when they die? They go back to your God? Or they go back to their own God? Or their existence just cease existing as well as their souls because they have no God?

Regarding pain and suffering in this world, all I can say is my view about this world is it's a balanced world. There are indeed many suffering people but there are many people living in bliss too. I wouldn't blame everything on God and I wouldn't thank everything for God, my achievements are my own and they belong to no one else except for me and the people that I can visually see helping me in the "mortal world". The most I would blame on is fate if the question is really unanswerable for me.

But what do you get for blaming others for your own failure and problems? Why not spend the time blaming and searching for a spiritual support on something that's constructive like bringing your life back to normal pace again with action? I know the life most of us are living now is not ideal, in fact it consists of sadness most of the time that's why we are always searching for happiness. But do you know what eternal happiness is? Have you ever experienced it before? You mentioned material happiness but do you know that is a bad start for searching for eternal happiness? As long as you are longing for something, you'll not gain lasting happiness because that thing will be gone one day or you are constantly trying to make sure it is not gone.

If you're going to view it the religious way, I will say maybe it's God's way of setting you to a test, to fully understand how it is to stay unattached to this world, just like what God is doing, before you can pass his test and make it to the heavens.

But I would think an eternal life is not something appealing. How long does it take for us to get bored of a thing? How many things are there to do in this world? If we have an eternal of lifetime, we will run out of things to do. And if we don't die I can assure you there will be a ton of people trying out extreme things with their lives, like attempting suicide since they know they can't die, just for the adrenaline rush.

Before you blame and ponder over God's purpose of giving you life, think about your own purpose in life, what you can do to in this mortal world. It doesn't have to be anything impressive as long as that is what you ultimately want.

Thank you for your reply !

My thoughts : Well, everybody has a different God here on earth, but I think God has many forms AND is the same God as he is. So that's why there are different Gods, God sents his messengers according to place, time and circumstances and in the case of Krishna, they say he is God, he incarnates himself to protect the righteous and to kill the demons.

I think God is just light and energy, eternal, blissful and full of knowledge, Brahman, as they say in Krishna Consciousness, I, myself, am sick and tired to worship a personal God, so I like, in these times now, to meditate and doing pranayama, maybe I will come back to worshiping Krishna again, but for now.......no !

As far as pain and suffering.......God controls our thoughts, our desires and our specch and actions, so I make it short, we are under the control of God and there is no free will what makes the things happen as it happens totally done by God.
Even what I write now and what I hear in my mind to write and to not write down, that's my intelligence saying I shouldn't write down I worship Brahman nowadays because it wouldn't be good for my Krishna Consciousness.

But I am sick and tired of a personal God and cannot trust him right now, here, this is what God wants me to write down !!

So I am not blaming others, because God is also intelligence, mind, false ego and the five elements, God created us from material elements and we are working here on earth according to his directions. So yes, I blame him for I believe there is no free will !

I have experienced eternal happiness three times, brief moments but long enough to convince me that there is eternalty and that might be waiting for us when we die.

You know, in a world of unlimited happiness, nobody would get bored, that is impossible, there are no enemies, everybody can do whatever he/she likes to do, in the morning, at night, no dangers, happiness and bliss alone, now, what can be boring is the concept of God as light and energy, there is no mind there and soul alone exists, I can imagine that we can be a bit bored there, once I was pondering over the question what the soul is and how it relates with the mind when I heard the following :

"The soul desires to express itself through the mind"

and when I wondered why, I heard :

      "Back to Godhead"

      A world of form

to be more accurate, an eternal world of form, can you imagine yourself living in an eternal world of form, imagine if you are happy here, but the happiness ends always here in the material world, it never ends in ther eternal worlds of form, you can go sightseeing other planets, man !! Far out !

If you believe everything is God will, then why are you questioning it? Unless you tell me it's God's will that he made you questioned it. But I honestly think no being will be so free to control each and every individual living on this world, there might probably be times when we're out of God's controls even if it's just for a brief moment.

As for the most prominent sufferings in this world, it's more than just a matter of thoughts and desires. There are people starving out there because there is simply no food or not enough. Food is not a desire, it's a need to live in this world. Unless you want to put it in another way such that they get to die earlier so they can be freed of mortal pains and lack of free will.

I don't want to spend too much time thinking about how life would be like outside of the material world. For one I don't know what will happen. Secondly, I've got a handful to handle in my life now and ignoring everything else just to think how wonderful life can be outside of where I am instead of making it better where I am now is not doing myself nor the people who raise me up any good deed. I'm not saying it's a bad thing to think though.

And I honestly don't yearn for happiness, sorry, if there's a choice I would choose an eternal life of inner peace.
