      Pure Christianity.

The world has a very wrong view of Christianity today, because so much counterfiet Christianity has taken over. But right now, I ask you to forget everything you know, or ever knew about what you call "Christianity". Allow me to re-introduce Christianity to you, using the Bible itself. Please, no arguing here. I will answer questions, but I will ignore debates. This is an information topic, not a debate.

      What is a Christian?
Christians were given their name at a place called Antioch. The word Christian means "Christ-like" or "Little Christ", and it was used to mock the believers at Antioch. If you are not Christ-like, how can you call yourself a Christian? By reading the Gospels, we have a very good picture of how Christ acted, and we should pattern our lives after His. That is what a Christian is; a follower of Christ.

      What is the Bible?
The Bible is the Word of God, "which liveth and abideth forever". 2 Timothy 3:16 says "All scripture is given by inspiration of God". The greek word translated as "inspiration" literally means "God-breathed". God used about 40 men of God to pen down the words He spoke to them, over a period of 1500 years. The Bible was not written by man, but by God. (Psalms 68;11, Hebrews 1:1, 2 Peter 1:16-21) The Holy Bible says that every word in the Bible is God-breathed, which is why the KJV is the only acurate English translation. The new translations were not translated from the Textus Receptus, (the Recieved Text) but from entirely different manuscripts. Read more about the Bible: Proverbs 30:5 Matthew 4:4 Psalms 119:89 Psalms 119:160 1 Peter 1:25. Many anabaptists and persecuted believers have died in history to give us the Bible.

      Who is God?
God is the Almighty being, who exists outside of time and space. He is omnipresent, and omniscient, and omnipotent. He is a God of Love, and a God of Justice. God is a trinity: FATHER, SON, HOLY GHOST. To help you understand how God can be 3 in 1, man is also a trinity. You are 3 in 1 as well. Man: SOUL, SPIRIT, and BODY.

      Who is Jesus Christ?
Jesus Christ is God manifested in human flesh. He was born of a virgin and lived a perfect life. On the cross He took our sins and they were crucified with Him. He was beaten with a cat of nine tails, he was spit on, His beard was pluckecd out, they shoved a crown of thorns into His skull, and they nailed His hands and feet to a cross. He accepted this willingly, for mankind. Is this not an act of love? He took our punishment and won the victory, all we have to do is claim it. He arose from the grave the third day, giving us victory over life. He is preparing a place in Heaven for His people, and soon He is coming back to take His Church away. After the tribulation, He will reign on earth for 1000 years.

      What is Salvation?
We are born sinners because of Adam. God cannot tolerate sin in His prescence, because He is holy. God made the ultimate sacrifice to free us from our chains of sin. By putting our faith in Jesus Christ, and repenting of our sins, we can be saved. Because of the shed blood of Christ, our sins can be washed away.

      What is Hell?
Hell was prepared for the devil and his angels. Any human who goes to hell, goes there as an intruder. God does not send anyone to hell, people send theirselves to hell. It grieves God when a soul goes to hell. God wants people to go to Heaven, so He offers salvation freely. Hell is a place of torment. The flames of hell are so hot, they are black. Thus, hell is dark. Hell is located in the core of the earth. Hell was not invented by religious leaders to scare people. Hell was written about in the Old and New Testaments.

      What is Heaven?
Heaven is the abode of God. Not much can be said about Heaven, because Heaven cannot be described using human language. Heaven is a place of pure joy, and bliss. There is no death or sadness in heaven.

      How should a Christian act?
This is perhaps the most controversal subject concerning Christianity. We already know that a Christian should act like Christ. A Christian should go to a local church. A Christian must have a effective prayer life and must be in the Bible daily. That is how a child of God grows spiritually.

      Is Catholocism Christianity?
No. The doctines of the catholic church contradict the doctrines of the Bible. The catholic church began to fom in the first century, when apostate churches joined together under leaders who hungered for power. Catholocism has persecuted every religious group, even though Christ commanded us to follow peace with all men.

      Is Protestantism Christianity?
In short, no. Protestants came out of the RCC. There are protestants who are Christians, but protestantism is not pure Christianity.

      Pure Christianity.
There is a group of Christians who have remained true to the Bible ever since the time of Christ. They have been called many names throughout history. One of those names is Anabaptist. They were and are the most persecuted group. The RCC showed us no mercey during the inquisition in the 1500s. We never persecuted anybody, we follow peace with all men, yet we were hated by the world. Why? Christ said the world would hate us. Because it hated Him. We are a small group, the Bible says there are few who walk in the path of life.
there are still Churches you can find that preach the whole word, and rightly divide the word of truth.

If you have any questions, please ask me via PM or here. Thank you very much for reading, I hope this was a blessing to you.

Don't flames get whiter the hotter they are?

Apparently you need to add "lacks knowledge of black body physics" to your list of skills, including "lacks the ability to understand the most basic logic".

      Uhh...

The colder part of a diffusion (incomplete combustion) flame will be red, transitioning to orange, yellow, and white as the temperature increases as evidenced by changes in the blackbody radiation spectrum. For a given flame's region, the closer to white on this scale, the hotter that section of the flame is.

Ah, thermal radiation. Easiest way to get the point across is in a couple points. (1) As the temperature of a body is increased, the intensity of the emitted thermal radiation rises rapidly. (2) The higher the temperature, the shorter the wavelength of the most intense part of the radiation spectrum. These principles are very material sensitive in nature, namely the nature of the thermal radiation of a given body at a given temperature depends on the material of which the body is made and also the shape of its surface.

The "surfaces" of stars, or anything else exhibiting thermal equilibrium, are not sharp boundaries like the surface of the Earth. Most radiation that a star emits is actually in thermal equilibrium with the hot gases that make up the star's outer layers.

I recommend looking into Gustav Kirchoff, and what he purposed about cavity radiation, and also the Stefan-Boltxmann law if anyone is interested in this kind of thing.

You already pointed out the most obvious one of "The bible is written by god because the bible says it was written by god." :/

On the subject of flame chemistry/physics, there's also the need to consider the energy levels of the species involved which can affect the colour of a flame, as is most obvious with metals and metallic compounds. And then you have situations like a bunsen burner where the safety flame is yellow due to soot being heated to incandescence, but the roaring blue flame, whilst much hotter, has a shorter wavelength due to the production of radicals, not black body radiation.

The implication is post #4 was that it applied to all flames. Still at least it's different from half the arguments that crop up over and over. At least, I don't remember arguing against nonsensical religious claims by discussing flame colours before!

You may be right. I always thought that flames turned black when they got so hot. However, would the same thing apply to sulfer and brimstone? I mean, the color of the flame would be different when burning sulfur. It doesnt really matter, anyway. Perhaps "outer darkness" reffers to spiritual darkness...

Can I just clarify: do you seriously not understand what the problem is with citing the Bible to prove the Bible's legitimacy?

If I asked you to explain the glaring error in this, what would you say..?

      The origin of Christianity

Realizing the power of religion, the Roman Empire under Constantine decided they needed to create a more Inquisitorial religion than the contemporary Mystery Schools. They saw this Christianity thing would be suitable so they threw out all the teachings that didn't fit their Inquisitorial design plan and killed all the people that continued to preach them, essentially removing the actual path to be Christ-like from the Bible as much as possible. This formed the Gnostic sect, which followed the true word of Jesus and wrote it all in code in caves and shit.

Meanwhile this other God was even more popular than Jesus during this time period, his name was Mithras and he had his own Mystery school in Rome and thousands of worshipers. The Mithraic Mystery school had close ties to the Roman Empire which felt it best to meld the two together as much as possible rather than attempt to have one destroy the other. They replaced all the symbols with Christian symbols and made all the other ones heretical, associating them with Satan. Creatures like Satyrs became considered evil, pentacles and tridents became pentagrams and pitchforks, the goat became the demonic symbol, as did horns in general. With this power play, the Romans managed to make their religion into the most dangerous positive feedback loop ever witnessed on this planet. Millions upon millions of people would die because the Christian machine had no middle ground and ruled through fear. You either surrendered to the Christian symbols or you were tortured and brutally murdered.

Luckily many people did find a middle ground, they adopted the Christian Symbols but continued their old practices. Because of this, the practices tracing back to the Gnostics and the Mithras Mystery survives in Monasterial Tradition, and Christian Monasteries are actually more like Buddhist Monasteries than like the practices of the religion at large. Also, because of this, indigenous religions of the lands conquered by Christianity retained their practices and their Gods as well, they just had to change the names. That's why we still have the Yule Log, the Christmas Tree and the Easter Bunny. That's also why Central and South Americans worship Mother Mary more than Jesus, because they adopted Mother Mary to represent the Great Mother of their ancient beliefs.

Despite the success this positive feedback loop known as Christianity has had on the world, eventually it became infected by critical thinking. Martin Luther, among others, transformed the way people consider it, and so rather than kill it outright they cut off the head, which at the time was the Vatican. The Vatican can still collect its money but it has become little more than a Corporation, a shadow of its former all encompassing empire. Now this monster serves no real master, it exists almost purely as a coping mechanism for anyone looking to feel like they have some kind of transcendental support system, or wants to feel like they're immortal.

I'm disappointed the guy didn't answer my question, I really was highly curious. Now I don't know if he didn't answer because he seriously couldn't work it out, or if he was simply engaged in doublethink.

      Two questions:

      1) You're using bible passages as justification that the bible passages are true. What makes this special when it's the bible? If I were to use Batman comics to prove that Batman is real, you'd tell me I'm being silly. This is not debating, it's just a question. And before you quote some weirdly-worded prophecy and claim it has come true, it damn well better be something plainly written, and not some imagery that can be applied to anything (since all kinds of events happen throughout history, that it's really easy to apply prophecies, especially those that don't have a timestamp on the prediction). So the only acceptable bible prophecies you may present are ones that are not open to wild interpretation, and that have a time attached to them (this will happen in <this year>).

      2) It's interesting, MOST apologists will come up with some way to wordball away the atrocities in the bible. You, however, are going the other way. So, if pure christians are 100% true to the bible, does that mean you believe, for instance, that rape victims must marry their rapists? And that owning slaves is moral? If you DON'T believe that such things (all of which are sanctioned in the bible) are moral, yet believe the bible to be the word of god, WRITTEN by god, then how do you consolidate this gaping inconsistency? Again, not really after a debate, just asking questions. You're putting yourself into a tough spot by claiming that the entire bible is the true word of god, but I applaud you for not being a cherry-picker when it comes to the bible, and (hopefully) taking ownership of the whole thing as the word of god. But now, you have tough questions to answer.

The replies so far have been entertaining.

I'm not going to poke fun, and I do think Benyameen's tenacity and willingness to type up something so long shows dedication. He seems to have thought for a long time about this, and obviously cares about what he perceives to be true reaching other people.

So even though I don't believe a word of it, I'm going to ask questions which, as long as he as answers for, shouldn't be debates in disguise. Perhaps they'll get one or both parties to think and to understand the other more clearly.

      1) You say that God doesn't want people to go to Hell, but that people send themselves to Hell. How exactly do people send themselves to Hell? Is it due to disobeying God's rules, or do people directly choose to go there? If it's the former, why do those rules exist in the first place? If God really cares about everyone and doesn't want any souls to end up in Hell, then why doesn't he just get rid of those rules and never send anyone there?

      2) Do you believe in 'good' and 'evil'? If so, does God decide what is good and what is evil, or do those concepts exist apart from Him?

      3) You say that "Heaven cannot be described using human language." Does this imply that there's a non-human language that God and his angels use, and that all souls will speak in heaven?

      4) You bring up 'sin' a few times, but never define it. What is sin? If sin is Adam's fault, then how come other people have it too? I mean, no one would hold a son accountable for the crimes of his father, that would be unjust, wouldn't it?

      5) If I were a Christian who read what you said, why should I believe your interpretation instead of the others I've been brought up with and heard of? All branches of Christianity claim to follow the Bible, but because it can often be ambiguous, the difference lies in the interpretation. So, I'm wondering, have you read the bible yourself and is that why you've come to these conclusions? Or did you get these ideas from somewhere? If you've gotten them from somewhere else, why listen to that interpretation and not the hundreds of others that different people have come to?

Thanks for reading, and I appreciate any responses.

I think it's fantastic that people are being true to the bible and not picking and choosing passages that match their own personal beliefs. We should all be true to the bible. Just in case anyone needs a recap on some of that fine print....

      CAPITAL PUNISHMENT:

Kill People Who Don't Listen to Priests

Anyone arrogant enough to reject the verdict of the judge or of the priest who represents the LORD your God must be put to death. Such evil must be purged from Israel. (Deuteronomy 17:12 NLT)

      Kill Witches

You should not let a sorceress live. (Exodus 22:17 NAB)

      Kill Homosexuals
"If a man lies with a male as with a women, both of them shall be put to death for their abominable deed; they have forfeited their lives." (Leviticus 20:13 NAB)

      Kill Fortunetellers

A man or a woman who acts as a medium or fortuneteller shall be put to death by stoning; they have no one but themselves to blame for their death. (Leviticus 20:27 NAB)

      Death for Hitting Dad

Whoever strikes his father or mother shall be put to death. (Exodus 21:15 NAB)

      Death for Cursing Parents

      1) If one curses his father or mother, his lamp will go out at the coming of darkness. (Proverbs 20:20 NAB)

      2) All who curse their father or mother must be put to death. They are guilty of a capital offense. (Leviticus 20:9 NLT)

      Death for Adultery

If a man commits adultery with another man's wife, both the man and the woman must be put to death. (Leviticus 20:10 NLT)

      Death for Fornication

A priest's daughter who loses her honor by committing fornication and thereby dishonors her father also, shall be burned to death. (Leviticus 21:9 NAB)

Death to Followers of Other Religions

Whoever sacrifices to any god, except the Lord alone, shall be doomed. (Exodus 22:19 NAB)

      Kill Nonbelievers

They entered into a covenant to seek the Lord, the God of their fathers, with all their heart and soul; and everyone who would not seek the Lord, the God of Israel, was to be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman. (2 Chronicles 15:12-13 NAB)

      Kill False Prophets

If a man still prophesies, his parents, father and mother, shall say to him, "You shall not live, because you have spoken a lie in the name of the Lord." When he prophesies, his parents, father and mother, shall thrust him through. (Zechariah 13:3 NAB)

Kill the Entire Town if One Person Worships Another God

Suppose you hear in one of the towns the LORD your God is giving you that some worthless rabble among you have led their fellow citizens astray by encouraging them to worship foreign gods. In such cases, you must examine the facts carefully. If you find it is true and can prove that such a detestable act has occurred among you, you must attack that town and completely destroy all its inhabitants, as well as all the livestock. Then you must pile all the plunder in the middle of the street and burn it. Put the entire town to the torch as a burnt offering to the LORD your God. That town must remain a ruin forever; it may never be rebuilt. Keep none of the plunder that has been set apart for destruction. Then the LORD will turn from his fierce anger and be merciful to you. He will have compassion on you and make you a great nation, just as he solemnly promised your ancestors. "The LORD your God will be merciful only if you obey him and keep all the commands I am giving you today, doing what is pleasing to him." (Deuteronomy 13:13-19 NLT)

Kill Women Who Are Not Virgins On Their Wedding Night

But if this charge is true (that she wasn't a virgin on her wedding night), and evidence of the girls virginity is not found, they shall bring the girl to the entrance of her fathers house and there her townsman shall stone her to death, because she committed a crime against Israel by her unchasteness in her father's house. Thus shall you purge the evil from your midst. (Deuteronomy 22:20-21 NAB)

      Kill Followers of Other Religions.

      1) If your own full brother, or your son or daughter, or your beloved wife, or you intimate friend, entices you secretly to serve other gods, whom you and your fathers have not known, gods of any other nations, near at hand or far away, from one end of the earth to the other: do not yield to him or listen to him, nor look with pity upon him, to spare or shield him, but kill him. Your hand shall be the first raised to slay him; the rest of the people shall join in with you. You shall stone him to death, because he sought to lead you astray from the Lord, your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, that place of slavery. And all Israel, hearing of this, shall fear and never do such evil as this in your midst. (Deuteronomy 13:7-12 NAB)

      2) Suppose a man or woman among you, in one of your towns that the LORD your God is giving you, has done evil in the sight of the LORD your God and has violated the covenant by serving other gods or by worshiping the sun, the moon, or any of the forces of heaven, which I have strictly forbidden. When you hear about it, investigate the matter thoroughly. If it is true that this detestable thing has been done in Israel, then that man or woman must be taken to the gates of the town and stoned to death. (Deuteronomy 17:2-5 NLT)

      Death for Blasphemy

One day a man who had an Israelite mother and an Egyptian father got into a fight with one of the Israelite men. During the fight, this son of an Israelite woman blasphemed the LORD's name. So the man was brought to Moses for judgment. His mother's name was Shelomith. She was the daughter of Dibri of the tribe of Dan. They put the man in custody until the LORD's will in the matter should become clear. Then the LORD said to Moses, "Take the blasphemer outside the camp, and tell all those who heard him to lay their hands on his head. Then let the entire community stone him to death. Say to the people of Israel: Those who blaspheme God will suffer the consequences of their guilt and be punished. Anyone who blasphemes the LORD's name must be stoned to death by the whole community of Israel. Any Israelite or foreigner among you who blasphemes the LORD's name will surely die. (Leviticus 24:10-16 NLT)

      Kill False Prophets

      1) Suppose there are prophets among you, or those who have dreams about the future, and they promise you signs or miracles, and the predicted signs or miracles take place. If the prophets then say, 'Come, let us worship the gods of foreign nations,' do not listen to them. The LORD your God is testing you to see if you love him with all your heart and soul. Serve only the LORD your God and fear him alone. Obey his commands, listen to his voice, and cling to him. The false prophets or dreamers who try to lead you astray must be put to death, for they encourage rebellion against the LORD your God, who brought you out of slavery in the land of Egypt. Since they try to keep you from following the LORD your God, you must execute them to remove the evil from among you. (Deuteronomy 13:1-5 NLT)

      2) But any prophet who claims to give a message from another god or who falsely claims to speak for me must die.' You may wonder, 'How will we know whether the prophecy is from the LORD or not?' If the prophet predicts something in the LORD's name and it does not happen, the LORD did not give the message. That prophet has spoken on his own and need not be feared. (Deuteronomy 18:20-22 NLT)

      Infidels and Gays Should Die

So God let them go ahead and do whatever shameful things their hearts desired. As a result, they did vile and degrading things with each other's bodies. Instead of believing what they knew was the truth about God, they deliberately chose to believe lies. So they worshiped the things God made but not the Creator himself, who is to be praised forever. Amen. That is why God abandoned them to their shameful desires. Even the women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged in sex with each other. And the men, instead of having normal sexual relationships with women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men and, as a result, suffered within themselves the penalty they so richly deserved. When they refused to acknowledge God, he abandoned them to their evil minds and let them do things that should never be done. Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, fighting, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip. They are backstabbers, haters of God, insolent, proud, and boastful. They are forever inventing new ways of sinning and are disobedient to their parents. They refuse to understand, break their promises, and are heartless and unforgiving. They are fully aware of God's death penalty for those who do these things, yet they go right ahead and do them anyway. And, worse yet, they encourage others to do them, too. (Romans 1:24-32 NLT)

Kill Anyone who Approaches the Tabernacle

For the LORD had said to Moses, 'Exempt the tribe of Levi from the census; do not include them when you count the rest of the Israelites. You must put the Levites in charge of the Tabernacle of the Covenant, along with its furnishings and equipment. They must carry the Tabernacle and its equipment as you travel, and they must care for it and camp around it. Whenever the Tabernacle is moved, the Levites will take it down and set it up again. Anyone else who goes too near the Tabernacle will be executed.' (Numbers 1:48-51 NLT)

Kill People for Working on the Sabbath

The LORD then gave these further instructions to Moses: 'Tell the people of Israel to keep my Sabbath day, for the Sabbath is a sign of the covenant between me and you forever. It helps you to remember that I am the LORD, who makes you holy. Yes, keep the Sabbath day, for it is holy. Anyone who desecrates it must die; anyone who works on that day will be cut off from the community. Work six days only, but the seventh day must be a day of total rest. I repeat: Because the LORD considers it a holy day, anyone who works on the Sabbath must be put to death.' (Exodus 31:12-15 NLT)

Once everyone is caught up on capital punishment we can start practicing what the bible teaches us about rape, sacrifice and slavery...

Or, we can just be good for goodness sake

      First the word christ
comes from the greek word χριστος (christos)
which means the one who possess the anointment.
So every man who had the annointment on religion of christianism and others
      was called χριστος/christos

Second the greek word for inspiration is called
Εμπνευση which means internal breath or the breath that comes within the self not godbreathed.

Third guy a manifest made by stalin or gebbels gives more space for questioning than yours.

fourth christ didn't took anybody sins he just got ruthlesly murdered.

Fifth why should i go to a church when the only thing that christ smashed was a temple and the only thing he cursed were the priest.

Sixth from the heaven you've got in your mind i would prefer to boil in a cauldron full of crap.

Seventh people don't born sinners are born dumb as fuck.

      Eighth i dont feel a sinner,should i?

Ninth the bible was so much tampered by the church that even the book of harry potter is more reliable than the bible.

Tenth why should i "act" as a christian since jesus hated hypocrites?
Maybe i should feel like one not pretend.

AND THUS BEHOLD OF THE WRATH OF MY TEN COMMANDS WHICH ARE GONNA F*** UP YOURS.

      PS.

Commited christians are so much fun to poke.

And vast acceleration of temperature leads to supernova which is blinding white.
So is the devil going to burn you quickly or you gonna get cooked like a barbeque?
