Neither could I, Sloth. I wound up turning off this phone then rooting (edit: *rebooting * stupid spellcheck ). Then I got to watch it from here but it stopped for a minute in the middle. I thought it might have been an overload problem because it happened after I posted the link here. Anyway it is working again now.

But someone, way back then, (1978 - 1983) a heretic, was trying to tell me that Jesus never said that same-sex-attracted were Hell bound etc. etc. etc. They said that if I want to understand the heart of Jesus, just read the red text in the 4 gospels. Just read, exactly what Jesus said and did. Your church is doing that. The "heretic" was in the "Children of God" sect. Anyway You are encouraging me to immerse myself in the gospel of John again after a long-long break. And this one if you want to watch. I undersatnd you now, no problem. Funny you mention COG. I went to one of their compounds back in 1993 in Southern California. A friend and me went to check it out. Weren't they the ones who were into "Flirty Fishing." But it is true, Jesus doesn't address homosexuality at all--and it was rampant in the Roman Empire, and the Jews forbade it. So, the fact that Jesus doesn't mention it is a positive indication that we aren't supposed to worry about it. He does, however define marriage as between a man and a woman. But he doesn't prohibit it. It's just that if two people of the same sex were to be married, it wouldn't actually be a marriage. It would be a union of some sort, but not marriage. There's no judgment implied. It's simply a matter of definitions. Besides, Jesus recommended celibacy above marriage anyway. So, if you're gay. Don't worry about it--Jesus Christ wasn't worried about it. I'm glad you're inclined to re-read the Gospel of John. That's a good thing, in my opinion.
