It sounds really interesting. I know someone that does something like that. I'll have to ask him about it.

I have few experinces but my journeys was almoust allwayes during the day with open eyes i see power animlas projected to this reality and sometimes also animals from other people.I never have good sensory quality in journey to lower world in me is more technical , conceptul and sometimes some flash of image .

Are you meditating while your doing this? And you see visuals with your eyes open? Very interesting. Do you listen to drumming to take you into a trance like state?

This was one of side effects of one expedimnet to create graphic intreface to my mind . I change some setups to increase priority of non-physical data strem to normal preception . Becouse some complex reasons it not work soo well for graphic interface but cause that free resources are used for things from my mind like empatky, telepathy ,seeing ghost and another beaings (
(Normal people call it schizophrenia ).I take some time lo learn how to control this state better main porblem was lowering of physical senses to make space for nonpysical ones and dealing with strong emotion i feel emotion like 30x normal level.

The preception of power animals i do it without any preparation normaly during the day usualy i can found where they are its like feel difference in space , sometimes i also see flashes of images of them .Actualy power animals are exception for other beaings i usualy only feel and dount see them becouse i dount asign them any specific image in my belief system. For me is better leave it in as "pointin space" and not asign image if beainng do not chose one ,people usualy chose image form ther beliefs systems.

Maybe it sound intresting for you now but in reality is very hard work see spirits everywhere you go , now i have this power turn off and i can partialy activate it by intent.

I need trance/hypnagogic state only if i can see good stable images i usualy dount use it becoause i can comunicate with them during the day and recive information in conceptual form. Have fully form scenario dount have much adventages for me is mainly good sensory experinece.If you are more interested about information is not needet go that deep you can acces information during the day probelm is how to "display" them to normal preception.

One time i have good experinece i ran through the forest (real one) with my spirit animal and see him with eyes open . Image was not too strong more like series of image flashes like in start of hypnagogic state.

If you can explain.. what was this experiment that you did? How did you increase the priority of non-physical data? Intent?

This to me is VERY interesting! Last night I stared out at the sky for a looong time. It must have been around midnight or later. Just standing in front of my sliding door staring to see if I would be able to see anything non-physical. I read a post somewhere not too long ago about a person who said if you give yourself the intention and believe (truly believe)... my mind always seems to judge EVERYTHING. Even if I tell myself that anything is possible, sometimes my subconscious still judges it and I think prevents me from seeing the non-physical. I really find your posts interesting. My first power animal was a goat. I don't think this was from any belief systems of mine. It was very unusual. The goat kept staring at me with its unusual looking eyes. I kept seeing this in flashes. It ran and I waited where I was. This flash or scene kept repeating until I said, "fuck it" and chases after him. He took me through a village, then I got a flash of a jungle, then a flash of a beach. The story went on and on. The interesting thing about it though was that I kept seeing flashes of him looking at me with the side of his face. He never said anything to me. Then last night I got the image of a alligator but I didn't have the energy to stay relaxed. My idea of a power animal would have been like a lion, cheetah, jaguar, etc. Not a goat... or alligator. Lol...

Ive never done a legit shamanic journey, but I'm really interested. My closest experience was a visualization meditation where an animal guide just happened to be there. It was a stag.

My power animals are Hawk,Lynx, and Armadillo
The last one i also didind expect is good idea try to google yout some infomation about specific animal symbolism , usaly it reperesnt some of your aspect or thema you are good or need working on.

Thats how I got into all this. I've had weird dreams and weird dream occurrences but black bear is how I started looking into dreams and crystals and shamanic journeying and mysteries and magic and plants a little. like an initiation I guess.

I had moved to this city and hadn't been dreaming much but I hadn't noticed yet. I had a dream one night and I only remember this scene of a bear cub in my path on a pretty trail, and how he instantly darted in this sort of shuffling way, stop-left,right! into the bushes. I hadn't seen any bears yet in real life, and I completely forgot about it.

Anyway some time later I'm at my friend's new place in the mountains and I've never been to the city before. we decide to take a walk to the mailbox which is a little ways down this trail. Then the scene from my dream happens. We see a bear cub, I think we'd assumed it was a dog or something because we'd seen one earlier on the way to her house. We freeze, bear cub instincts kick in very quickly and escapes, and it's all the same as the dream. I instantly am like BEAR-CUB=MOMMA-NEARBY="NOPE" and I think what I say to my friend is "No. No. No. Let's go." because it's taking her a second, and we get back to her house. Apparently she'd looked to the right and actually saw Momma bear and another bear cub with her, standing and watching us ('since we were leaving she seemed okay').

I think during the walk I had realized seeing the same exact thing in a dream within the last few months. which has never happened to me before. I mean, if it's telling me the future it was pretty useless coz I didn't remember until the event had passed. But I'm gonna see it more as confirmation.

Then the next night or same night I'm walking with another (mutual) friend who has heard the story on the street we live on on our way to return dvds, and we bump into another bear (young adult). It's further down the street. Just sitting on the bend in the road. Straight chillin. and we turn back. This time I was like NO THAT IS A DOG OKAY I WAS JOKING but my friend was like no it's definitely a bear you had it. We kept walking a little further as I snapped out of my denial and then turned.

In both situations I was like WHY. My first friend looked up spirit animal stuff and my second was like you're the common thing in these things, so thing.

Other than that there's the blue morpho butterfly. Or it might just be butterfly, but the only time I'd seen one was in a comic I think, and I found out later they're real. But that wasn't exactly in a dream. The only time I saw it in a dream it was weirding me out because it's body was bloated.

I don't get how power animals work or what to do with em. But I had a dream involving black bear cubs and bears this morning/night thinking just about my little brothers so I think I get it. Familllly. The bear was confusing me more than the butterfly.
