      Chaos magick anyone?

Alright, for those of you that know what i'm talking about, good (or bad ) for you so now i dont have to reexplain it to you. But before i start, i'd like to give a shout out to the people that know chaos magick, if any here. Probably some people, well anyway i just wanna get an idea of how many people here actually do chaos magick. oh and if someone else thinks they have a better definition of it than me, or knows that they have a better definition, feel free to post it. oh and people of world religions, i'm warning you now that you might find my ideas disturbing, and may want to convert me....

so for those that have no idea what i am talking about, chaos magick is as follows (in my own words, and bear with my spelling, its late at night and i'm out of it) :

Nothing is real. Everything is permissible. Consequences can be ghastly.

those are the only "rules" you have to have, everything else you can make up. you do magick by having a set of beliefs or another religion that isnt chaos magick, and your current beliefs, or paradigm, should be able to be switched without attachment to it. for example, you can make up your own beliefs or god, or you can believe in no god, be selfish, and do only to benefit yourself. switching paradigms would be like going from your own god, to christianity, then to satanism. i dont know, thats a random example, but you get what i mean.

essentially, there isnt much order in chaos magick at all, and depending on what you want to use chaos magick for (the dualities of good and evil) determines what particular types of magick you can do. the right hand path, is the path to live under a god, blah blah blah. the left hand path, is to live under yourself, not believing in a god. the middle path is useless, because you take no side lol. depending on how you use one of the paths, makes it good or bad. but most often, left hand path is associated with personal gain and evilness , and the right hand path is associated with good 8) .

and dont get me wrong, but even though chaos magick can be either good or bad, it does use the dark/black arts, and chaos magick also allows you to do any kind of magick, and thus allows you not to be restrained to "good" magick (white) or neutral magick (grey) . in this sense, it is very much used for personal gain, and by definition black magick is manipulating someone or something without its consent.

basically meaning, "i'm going to do 'harm' to you without first asking."

magick is done through sigils, servitors, and the chaossphere. i dont feel like explaining those in detail, so i'll do it fast. sigils are created as symbols of a desire, and you get into a medatative state or trance and "project" these into your unconscoius to let it make it happen, then you "banish" the thought of ever doing the sigil. *** by not thinking of it, it happens. if you keep thinking about it, it wont happen. *** this is true in all types of chaos magick. anyway, a servitor is a person or thing created to do your bidding, like making someone suffer ect. to make it stop, or to destroy it, it must be banished. it is created through the medatative state and then you must banish your thoughts of it.

the chaossphere, is basically a circle with 8 rays pointing out of it, symbolizing every type of magick. you can go to www.chaosmagic.com , www.spiralnature.com then look under magick, to enlighten yourself on what the types of magick are, and A LOT more on chaos magick.

if you desire, you can use the chaossphere to help with magick, or to do magick. for an example, you can "launch" servitors and sigils into the chaossphere to "activate" then so they will work. personally, i dont like that, so i dont do that. my path is left hand if you are wondering, because i want personal gain. after all, we're in this life once, why not make the best of it, for myself and those close to me!

wooo its late...ok umm let me think if i missed anything. oh yeah, the phrases at the beginning "nothing is real" ect, you are essentially giving up yourself and saying nothing exist, nothing is real, you not really being there at that computer chair or whatever, although i believe the afterlife is real, this isnt real.

i personally think most of the people that come here, or came here, are different. lets face it, all our friends think we are out of our minds with our reality checks, lucid dreaming, and philosophies of this reality/life. so my point in this short paragraph? i think most people here arent orthodox in their "religions" , unless you're like me and cant find a world religion close enough to what i think to be true, so i find this, and its really right on what i think to be true. and if they are, i think they question lucid dreaming with religions. yeah, i just wanted to say that.

so, with all that being said, during the week(s) i wont be on dreamviews a whole lot, school and cello has got me SO busy, so i apologize ahead of time if im not on enough for whatever reason. and weekends i'll try to be on at least once if i'm having a week of hell (too much work, no sleep, and lots of blah everywhere at the same time) . if not, i'll be on frequently. again, if anyone is offended by this (which i should think not, hey if you believe in something, why be offended by my rant on chaos magick?) then all i can say is to sleep this off. or meditate. or forget about it. or maybe accept it for what it is.

i'd like to think that everyone here is open-minded and intellegent, but i know theres SOME people who dont fit those requirements, but i still think the very beginning of dreamviews was awesome. so many people joined now....

so with all this being said, its not 666, or 777, but 888!!!!!!!
(i'm listening to AC/DC now lol) but seriously, i love classical music, and ya.....i'm done.[/i]

I'm all for open-mindedness and the freedom to practice any or all forms of " religion "
exclusively or simultaneously but I dissagree with harming others for personal gain.
It's all a circle, junior. You get what you give. Besides, if nothing is real, why bother
with all the siguls & servitors. Seems like alot of work to obtain a " desire " that does'nt
      really exist.
Regardless of your theology , you're right , we only get one shot at this. Why waste it
      on underhanded ambition?

      You're getting sleepy......

Sounds like a way for pimply-faced teens who can't get laid to pass the time -- and try to convince themselves that they are in control of a world that they're years from even being able to grasp the actual complexity of.

Once they finally DO get laid, the whole "chaos magick" thing will go out with the garbage that mommy is yelling at them about not having taken to the curb yet.

I don't want to hear about the brain from someone that doesn't have one.
Nor do I want to hear about evolution from someone that hasn't evolved.

I was recently having a discussion with a friend of mine. She is convinced that people who come to internet discussion boards only to spend countless hours humiliating other posters and flexing their intellectual might are generally miserable, socially awkward, hateful (and most likely unattractive) individuals who can't seem to make an impact in their own "real-world"circle so they are always searching for a smaller pond to make a splash in.
It's funny, she says that if they just got laid every once in a while, they probably wouldn't waste so much their lives away in cyberspace to make themselves feel better about their own failures/shortcomings. I say she's mean and too general. She says that she's just being honest. She admits that there are probably exceptions but.......................
.....oh never mind. Sometimes I wonder why I'm even still friends with her. Oh, that's right, I don't want her to die alone! Anyway, she wanted me to post this because she feels sorry for the poor kid who started this thread. Hope it doesn't cause any trouble or anything.

      Or.......
Extremely happy poeple with brutal work hours ( 55+ weekly, personally ) who enjoy the
chance to share ideas , fears , dreams and ,of course, sarcasm with a huge array of
varied intellects from around the globe.
Ask your friend what she really thinks about Chaos Magick . Would she like someone
to harm her for personal gain ?
