666 is coming!!!

Many friends of mine have asked me what I think will happen on the 666
(June 6, 2006). To be honest I believe nothing will happen that day besides the fact that Slayer (one of my favorite bands) is coming to San Diego. But who knows something might happen. I ain't no satanist by the way. What do you think about the so called 666?

The new Omen movie remake is coming out on that day. Probably nothing will happen that day just like nothing happened with the Y2K theory.

Its all numbers and time that we made up. In reality there is no "6/6/6" its just symbols we use to comprehend the passing of time. It makes no difference in our lives what the numbers are on a certain day.

Likely a prime day for pranks/petty crimes and the potential for more serious crimes. People want to have more of a panic/terror effect if they're going to commit a crime, and having the date 6/6/6 will freak out people.

I predict an increase in arson. Probably lots of threats, like people claiming to be planning school shootings or whatnot.

but the Y2K was more of a computer thing, and this is a religious thing. Like someone said before their will probably be alot of crimes committed on that day but I think they will be from so called satanists. Probably something like Richard Ramirez but on the 6/6/6.

And our calender went though the Year 666 allready, and then nothing happend.

I don't think anything major will happen that day. My prediction of something major happening is April 17th. Nothing earth shattering I hope but that date came to me one day out of the blue.

Yeah, no worries there. It's like I said though: Nothing supernatural will happen, but we'll likely see an increase in crime rates by people hoping to take advantage of a day some are afraid of.

I had this thought too! But just think... next year is 777, which is I believe a holy number. Maybe somting like a miracle will happen, maybe a miracle for everyone. Cure for cancer? Me passing exams? (haha jk) maybe the second coming of jesus.... i hope not i wanna go to grade 10! Maybe a highly spiritual and earth shattering event. Maybe... Someone should research the year 666 and find out if anything did happen. i dont believe ppl were aware of the symbolism of this number then.

Awareness of the symbolism of the number shouldn't mean anything if it truly is a number of the devil, and, by extension, whether the devil truly exists. IF the devil exists, and IF 666 is his number and somehow gives him power, something should've happened on the last 666, whether people were aware or not.
Same goes for Christ coming.

I think that in that respect, the whole idea's rather foolish, though I stand by what I said about people taking advantage of a date that might strike fear into others. Just like 4/20, Hitler's birthday. It isn't as obvious, and not everybody knows about it (more just recognize it as a day for smoking), but people HAVE committed major crimes on 4/20 in the past to attract attention and fear to their deeds.

Everyone is sooo worried about the devil, when it is our own human nature that is our worst enemy.
In my humble opinion, I believe that the devil and the other several names used in the Bible are just that. A symbolism of our own adversaries. Our own human sins or faults.

All in all I dont believe it has anything to do with time 666 or as others have argued it is actually 612 is an equatioln of a kind that reprisents the forms of evil and many have said it is the number of an ancient seal, all in all I belive it has nothing to do with time, or anything to do with humans it is our fault to believe it does

666 isn't a particular number at all. People made it up so they have something to symbolise evil and rally up against.
