I have realized that when I had nightmares in the past and I call on Jesus and fight back by asking Jesus to save me and/or pleading the blood of Jesus or shouting out the words "In the name of Jesus" my nightmarish situation goes away and I wake up. It always works for me. Are there any other Christains out there that have used this method when having a nightmare?

I used to be a Christian in the past but I never called on Jesus in my dreams. Besides in my worst nightmares I was so scared that I actually couldn't utter a word.
      I'm tired being sorry.

You could also call for Allah, or for Zeus, or for Thor. They all work just as well.

When I was a kid, I used to pray to Jesus that He may take my nightmares away... it usually work most of the time. Although, now it doesn't work for me because I no longer believe what I used to believe and don't pray like that anymore.

However, for people that do believe in that kind of stuff, it does work and I respect that because I already did that before too.

      Same.

Worshipping Jesus goes directly against the 12 commandments too, which is funny.

Jesus claimed he was the son of God, never "God" himself. Christianity seems to have matched him into the "Holy Trinity" which makes him a God in their eyes.

Not true. Besides what's really funny is that you don't know anything about the bible but yet you make a ridiculous statement like you actually do know. Nowhere in the bible does it state that Jesus and God are the same.

Actually, worshiping Jesus like a god, or worshiping jesus more then god, that is pretty hypocritical.

      However I DO think it's funny. HA-HA! Christianity. HA-HA!

He didnt say that in the Bible Jesus is reffered to as GOd, but Christianty seems to have managed to adapt their doctrine into forming a holy trinity where Jesus is one with God, his point, is flawless,
You'll find that the early church fathers played a pivotal point i nthe destruction and re-fashioning of Jesus' true message, if he really did ahve one =D

Point is flawless?... don't make me laugh. His point has a major hole in it, becuase it's still not true. Christianity doesn't display God and Jesus comprised as One God Head. It's a wonder why you have it twisted. I'm Christian and you're actually telling me that I believe that the two are one in the same? If you are really that cofused all you have to do is ask for understanding and I will be more than happy to show you.

I think that statement shows it all
What was the major hole is his point may I ask?

I think there is a biger chance that you have nightmares, since there is always that fear of hell.
And btw, you have no right to say who is living "foul lives" or not...

Well, if God and Jesus are not the same, why worship Jesus? As OneRyt said.

Are you having a holy moment?

There is no Jesus, the effect that calling on this imaginary figure has on nightmares is totally placebo (which in dreams is all you need to make anything happen)

I think you should start viewing things in a more objective way.

Haha. Yeah I saw that site, with some magic bunny that tells children about god and stuff. I really, 'pray to god' that that site is a hoax. It is one of the sickest christian creations ever.

Edit: The site even had color pictures, to smite those atheists even harder!!1!!

Jesus is God in human flesh:

"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." (Isaiah 9:6) Is "the mighty God" anyone less than the Almighty God? Context shows He is the same, as Isaiah 10:20-21 refers to Yahweh the LORD God of Israel as "the mighty God."

"And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth." (Matthew 28:18) Restored to heaven, Jesus Christ the Son of God has ALL power, which means that He is Almighty, not just "a mighty god" as taught by some who do not want to "honor the Son just as they honor the Father." - John 5:23 NIV
