He's on fire
Hahaha! Best Topic Ever. :)
yeah best thread ever.....
Wtf is the point in that? Unless im missing something and its some other joke then thats incredibly tracist and cruel, way to go.
Um the police would be on your ass if you held up a sign in public showing showing that in England.
Although I don't totally agree with the English law, should the internet be treated differently?
The Muhammed and jesus pics made me laugh...
... I'm just tired of all these muslims (the radical ones) going into a hissy as soon as someone pokes fun at their prophet or god... to be honest, Jesus gets bashed all the time, but we don't see Christians burning flags... so if anything, why can't we poke fun? Don't we have a right to free speech in the first place?
Im all for freedom of speech, I myslef would try and refrain from mocking a historical figure that obviously means a lot to some people. For one its just impolite.
And to the topic starter, you could ahve at least made your pciture slgihlty funny?
its lyk them cartoons, they could ahve at elast bneen worth the outrage, iwas dsiappointed when I saw them,. They werent really that funny
Imran
well the Jesus ones are more of a joke, its just the mohammed one isnt funny.
It would be like me getting a picture of your mom dropping something with the text " Oops, lol", you know just a joke. But your mohammed one is more like me drawing a picute of your mum on fire or getting shot with no funny text or anything. Some people can get really offended, i'd imagine if i was a muslim i wouldnt be very happy about it.
Christian make fun of Jesus because they dont take their religion seriously. So no serious nerve is struck in their minds when seeing Jesus made fun of. But other religions like Muslims go hardcore till death with it. If you were really really all your soul really into Christianity, you would find those Jesus pics offensive.
Muslims need to make like most Christians and Jews--ignore the bad parts of their holy book, and just take out the parts they like and interpret them in a way that enables them to live in modern society. Unfortunately most of them do take their religion seriously.
Honestly Christians take the most shit. If a white man calls a Muslim a towel head, theres probably going to be some suing! But if someone makes fun of a Christian their like: ? You can leave now.
how that made me lol so bad :bigteeth: , still though just because they are the majority doesnt mean they can't be oppresed. Thoguh i think the reason Muslim may get angered more ias that they take their Religion much more literally
I mean if Christians did take all of their Bible literally they would be doing a lot of bad things. But they know what was really ment for the times it was written and what parts just don't really apply at all.
I don't know if this is 100% true, but one thing I heard was that Islam makes any pictures of the prophet Mohammed illegal. (I'm not Islamic, and I don't really care that you posted that pic) But I don't think it has anything to do with a lack of confidence. The only thing I have to say about that is that I believe that people should be informed at least a tad bit about other religions and viewpoints before they generalize it. Other than the part about the "lack of confidence" I think the pic was pretty funny :D

well actually i believe it is also forbidden to draw anything under the seas of the earth( im assuming this means hell), or the heavens in the sky for Christians as well.
The Second Commandment instructs the faithful not to make "any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth."
there it is :content:
So really any images of angels or dreams are not allowed, if you want to be really picky then i suppose images of Jesus are not allowed either sincehe is in heaven now supposidly.
Good grief. I didn't know that. I just Googled the Ten Commandments and saw it for myself. Why didn't they teach me that in Sunday school? So it's a sin for scientists to use diagrams to teach about the layers of the Earth (Maybe because Hell is not taught to be one of the layers?). The fundamentalists are so gung ho in their fight to keep evolution from being taught in schools, but why aren't they screaming against the teachings of volcano physics and marine biology? Illustrating marine life is a sin. Scuba diving videos on TLC must really have some panties in a wad. I wonder what I'll run into next.
