Anyone else give a "wow" at the desperation?
Wow. . .
I had more of a "wha...?" than a "wow..." on my mind.
I'd see the trailer to figure out what it's about but Ben Stein in shorts is too much to handle...
whatever... I am too drunk to have an opinion right now.
I never liked Ben Stein
I couldn't even see it, it was taking too long to load. Ben Stein is the guy who always talks in that monotone voice, right? (I don't really keep up with actors and singers or anything like that)
"Clear Eyes"
This is rubbish. He isn't even a scientist and to add insult to
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ben_Ste...r_in_the_mediaQuote:
Stein is also the star of the upcoming documentary Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed, a documentary arguing in favor of Intelligent Design, due to be released in February of 2008[8]. The movie has been criticized for interviewing scientific figures under the pretense that they were being interviewed for an apparently completely different film, supposedly named "Crossroads"
He decieved the scientist who where interviewed.

Well, it is not a big surprize that creationist use dirty tactics.
Wow, I'll admit that I really don't know much about Ben Stein but I've always just assumed that he would be an athiest. I never would have thought that he would be involved in something like this!
Awsome, I've always loved Ben Stein but I never knew he was a creationist.
Maybe I'll sleep through February, because if I have to see commercials for that I'm going to throw my T.V. out the window. :P
Holy shit leave it to the american media to make creationsim "sassy"
Wait..
Is this movie pro-atheism or pro-creationism?
In both cases it would be a retarded movie. But somehow, it would be even more retarded if it was to defend creationism.
The movie is pro-free-opinion. If the scientific community doesn't approve of something that is fucking idiotic, such as Creationism, then they're obviously all Nazis who have no interest in scientific truth and who are enemies of free speech. The movie seeks to show how science of the last 20 decades is basically a hoax that only exists to support itself and has no interest in getting criticized by Creationism because something as stupid as Creationism is a real threat to science that could turn our world view inside out.

hmm thanks for the post you've sparked my interest in watching the movie.
I thought it was just gonna be a bible (in beinsten's case torah thumping) thumping film. Ill have to check it out...
At any rate i think Creationism is a load of BS.
All it says is "god did it" to the big question. If you leave god out of the equation (for whom there is no evidence of at all therefore any notion of a creator must be left out of the equation until such time as there is proof) then you will get good science.
If you put god in the equation people are gonna start asking science
"how did so and so come about?"
"Why is so and so the way it is?"
and the scienties would reply
"we have come to the conclusion that god did it because we couldn't figure it out.
Now where is the motivation?
My post wasn't serious, I was just going wild.
Goddamnit. Since I saw that preview I can't listen to "Bad to the Bone" and enjoy it anymore. Damn you Ben Stein, damn you!
the clear eyes guy?
i always liked his lack of personality...its funny :boogie:
i dont think its defending or attacking anything. just bringing to light injustice in the classroom and scientific community. (his views not mine, i dont know what to think at the moment)
Well have to wait for the movie to find out :DQuote:
