      Beliefs

I know this will probably stir up some flaming. I write this though, because I see a lot of people talking about spirituality, god, and Lucid Dreaming. Maybe they are right, maybe there is a being of higher power, but I'm personally an atheist and I've been lucid dreaming for ten years and APing for a couple years. I don't think what you believe about the afterlife has any affect upon your dream life.

I'm persuing lucid dreaming more for entertainment but I believe it's more scientific than spiritual. The techniques I used are scientific and based from the experience on the way my mind creates impressions to transfer into the dream. Like I am able to 'choose' which lucid dream I want which is a direct result of the technique I used but there are the ones where it is 'spiritual' in nature and unplanned. I do believe there is a certain degree of spirituality involved but it's more about the person than god etc.....

You're free to believe what you want about lucid dreaming.

Exactly, just as you're free to believe whatever you want about anything.

I'm a Christian, but I thoroughly believe lucid dreaming is all in your head .

Your beliefs are your thoughts. Thoughts are you. You affect all things in your immediate environment. What do you think?
