Hijabs and Aquanina

I agree 100% that Korritke's thread was potentially offensive and definitely not put across in the right way. If he would have made a thread debating the hijab and the reasons they wear it, etc. then that would have been fine. In fact, just to quickly state my opinion, one of the posters made the point that it is for the purpose of keeping the males out of temptation. This is utterly disgusting and an infringement on the rights of the females (but what else is new for Islam?). With that said, I want to reply to this:

Korritke is NOT a troll. He has contributed greatly to many theological debates. On occasion he can say things that go a little far, as do many of us, but he is in no way a troll. I would appreciate it if people who don't participate in R/S at all would keep their uninformed statements about other posters to themselves.

On a final note, Korritke, I know atheists aren't a unified organization, but please try to temper yourself in the future to not make us look like complete jerks. Thank ya
