The Gospel of Judas
Gospel of Judas
I'm sure this has been posted before but I think it has synchornistic relevance to the current fervor of DV.
Things possibly implied combined with Buddhist philosophy:
God was appointed to rule Earth by entities in a holy realm beyond even Heaven. That means all the paradoxes about God are explanable by realizing he was misinformed by his own logic.
After this creation ends, he'll give his seat up and we'll all try again with somebody else karmically appointed as King.
Things implied about the future:
There will be a last generation, and though you can't tell when it'll be because lines are missing, our actions as members of this last generation will be very profound.
Some other things I got from it:
Jesus' name was intended to be smeared by the selfish actions comitted by generation after generation since his death. It's like a test, we live in the garden of Eden, and then a lie is born and we hide ourselves from each other, losing our love and harmony with each other. Then somebody comes along and lives a completely earnest life, and we torture and kill him. Then we spend ages ruining his name so no one even wants to associate with him anymore because of all the terrible things done. I don't know where this test is going, but it seems pretty profound so far.

Interesting. I do like apocryphal biblical texts.

So the bible is the inspired word of god, yet these books weren't inspired words of god, which was determined by a bunch of men who were inspired by god to choose the text that weren't inspired by god?
-
^^ exactly, its what makes other gospals which just so happened to be "left out" even more interesting. is there an online source for this? Id like to have a read.

Yeah the link.
Yeah I'm a hound about ancient gnostic texts and basically anything written about Jesus but censored by the Roman Church. Did you know the king James version of the bible (which is basically the way the bible standardly comes) was influenced by Rosicrucian philosophy? Sir Frances Bacon is said to be the main influence on the KJB, some scholars even say he pratically wrote it himself (which would explain why its so shakespearian since I'm personally convinced Bacon wrote all of Shakespeare's plays). Sir Frances Bacon also had well known ties to the Rosicrucians. My source for this, along with most of my knowledge on the occult, is "The Secret Teachings of All Ages" by Manly P Hall.
Anyway, the rosicrucians were all about symbolism, and they knew full well that the church censored a ton of important information relevant to the Philosophy of Jesus on behavior as well as esoteric understanding. It's my supposition that a lot of it was hidden in symbols and metaphors Bacon added into the KJB so the KJB actually does have a lot of real information in it, carefully wrapped in symbols so it wouldn't be called a heretical book by the Church.
Jesus believed we were all capable of ascending to his level, and that it is our purpose to do so. In fact, real baptism involved the usage of a psychedelic ointment. The term Messiah translates to Annointed One, as in one who has had ointment bestowed on them. After this annointment ceremony, Soloman, David and Jesus all underwent what can only be described as very intense psychedelic trips. Of course, the hallucinogens aren't like special keys to enlightenment, as I said in the thread about mushrooms on ext discussion, it takes hard work and discipline to tame ones mind to achieve the awareness and focus required.

very interesting. Is there a main place you go to research such information or its just scouring the internet?
the gospal is a little short, there must have been a lot missing, but it is very interesting. It almost reminds me of Tolkein's creation story minus the music part. Do you believe astral projection could be a way to come closer to these beings? I dont remember if you believe in AP or not.

Well the book I mentioned is my main source for anything esoteric, secretive, or ancient. Other than that I just scour the internet. I'll admit sometimes I'm lazy in verifying sources and such so not everything I say has necessarily undergone scrutiny by acreditted historians such as that the annointing oil was psychedelic, but in reading the bible it is crystal clear to me that after being annointed every Messiah had something like a really intense mushroom trip.
Yeah the Gospel is really short, granted it spent nearly 2000 years in a cave before it was discovered so... yeah.
