      My paranormal experience

I'm really tired right now but my mind has been keeping up, so I decided to post.

When I was around 14 I visited my out of city aunt and uncle and spent the night because it would've been a long drive back. About the only entertaining thing they had was satellite tv so I stayed up after everyone went to bed. That's when I saw it. It was a white glowing orb about the size of a golf ball and it slowly circled in the air for a few seconds and shot off out of the room and up the stairs.

I don't know why but I never woke anyone up, I ran into the room that had my cot on the floor and hid under the cover by my mother. I never been more terrified in my life, hiding under those covers. I remember hearing two sounds right after the other. The first was the sound of squeaking floorboards, and the second I couldn't identify. It sounded like dropping a large marble into a cup of water.

I know what I saw, and I know not all of these orbs can be explained by dust and flash photography. It seems stange now thinking back on it. The memory isn't very clear, especially considering the nature. Perhaps I repressed the memory...

I buy into it. The world is infinitely more complex than most people want to believe.

Infinitly greater than you are... Damn that missing E.

On the other hand "hallucination" explains it quite well.

I saw a monstrous dog demon run into my room and gnaw on my bedpost when I was 8 years old.

I don't think that was real either.

Other people have seen the exact same thing with their eyes, I find it hard to sum up all of these experiences with the explanation of hallucinations...

I'm not asking anyone to believe or doubt me, this is just my story I wanted to tell.

And by the way with that dog demon, you might want to inscibe a pentagram around your bed to protect yourself from it.

I have pictures of a ton of orbs from a Graveyard in Salem.

But i'm sure it was just the light.
This was that cult, and the prisoners said it had always existed and always would exist, hidden in distant wastes and dark places all over the world until the time when the great priest Cthulhu, from his dark house in the mighty city of R'lyeh under the waters, should rise and bring the earth again beneath his sway.

You hadn't slept in a while it sounds like. Added to that you were tired from traveling all day. Weird stuff happens when you're tired, and moreso when you are alone in the dark. You were probably drifting off to sleep and think you saw something.

What you saw was a weather balloon.

...Well this is a LD message board, I'm quite familar with hypogogic hallucinations

But for arguements sake it's possible I suppose, but I'm going to have to turn it down, 'cause I'm going with the weather balloon theory!
