Visions from all kinds of faiths

I need to find a website which contains testimonies of people having religious visions from any other faith except Christian (Hindu, Jewish, Muslim, Sikh etc.).

I can't find one... I could do with a wee bit of help please.
      The starz...
      The planets...
The intricate and dynamic machinery of nature...
      Are you saying,
that all of this was created,
      BY A MONKEY??????

Look no further, there's plenty right here in DV. Dreaming is a kind of vision.
      - Are you an idiot?
      - No sir, I'm a dreamer.

What do you classify as a religious vision?
When I practiced Wicca, Celtic magick and spiritism in general I experienced "spiritual/religious visions" often. But I had other sorts of visions to an extreme degree (premonitions/extreme empathy/out right "hallucinations" etc).

Do you mean, in terms of perhaps another "bible" and "prophets" having been seen and exalted by others? (Like Diana and the Horned god of Wicca?- and having some sort of organized following?)

If you have a sense of caring for others, you will manifest a kind of inner strength in spite of your own difficulties and problems. With this strength, your own problems will seem less significant and bothersome to you. By going beyond your own problems and taking care of others, you gain inner strength, self-confidence, courage, and a greater sense of calm.Dalai Lama

Probably that book contains what you're looking for:

Look at part 2, visions of deities.

I'm looking for specifically life changing and overwhelming visions, not just normal dreams. Similar to what one might experience in an NDE or a really intense OBE.

Did you check the link above? I don't blame you if you couldn't bear reading, it's written boringly for sure Anyway, it's about visions that are supposed to happen between your death and new reincarnation. Even better than a NDE.

      No other ideas.

Actually, my hypothesis is that if visions can be of any religion then it shows that the visions are DEPENDANT and PRE-DETERMINED. Whereas if only Christians had visions and Hindus didn't this would show something curious and may make me consider different beliefs.

Why would you trust anyone that they had a vision at all?

I think I understand, but you're pitting spirituality against each other. When spirituality can't be pit against itself.

A religion is a set of beliefs. A doctrine.

But when you start talking about experiencing something first hand, it becomes spirituality. Why? Because no longer does the individual believe because a book or a priest told them so, but because of what they experienced. If its first hand, its spiritual. A 'religious' experience is simply the experience of being apart of a religion.

There are thousands of examples of spiritual experiences. But it does take time to 'find' them. I like reading the experiences of others and it's taken me years to read some awesome examples. Don't bother asking me to point the way. It was almost ten years ago when I first read angel experiences. Who knows if the websites I visited are even still around? But my point is, the experiences are out there. And honestly, I don't think you're going to find them unless you are genuinely interested.

But spirituality is outside of religion. As anyone, even an atheist, can have a spiritual experience. I own two books about two different individuals and their spiritual experiences. Both were born atheist, no religious background, and after their experiences believed in a Higher Power.

Just think about it, how would you classify the experience of God? Is it Christian? Is it Jewish? Is it Wiccan? Is it Muslim? Is it Hindu? Is it Buddhist? It's neither and all of the above.

Like wise, Christians have 'met' Native Ancestral Spirits, and Jews have 'met' Jesus. There is no barrier.

I know very little about islam, but a muslim once told me about a religous vision Mohammed had, called the "Miraj", where he went to visit Allah, or something like that. That same muslim told me about 60 foot tall giant translucent people that are sometimes reported in religous visions. Sounds cool.
