Bible "Flash Cards" and riddles.

I know a lot about the Bible but my memory for specifics is very lacking.
I would like to change that.

The idea is:
Any Christian or interested person can type in a Scripture or Bible riddle. Don't supply which Scripture it is or the answer to the riddle.
If hints are needed, they can be given.

And PLEASE, please, please, please keep it on topic (in other words, naysayers with "jokes" or Bible bashing. Create your own thread if you want).

I'll start with one of my favorite Scriptures. Guess where it is (it's made up of two directly connected verses:
"With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: "Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them.
And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."

I use the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures. The language is more modern, but it should say basically the same thing in King James and other versions.

And for good measure, I'll throw in a riddle:

Subject: Bible Characters and Creatures
Clues
1) Quit his job plowing for a special assignment.
2) Killed his bulls and burned his plow.
3) Served as a Prophet.
4) Attendant to Elijah for 6 years
5) By him Jehovah [God] preformed 16 miracles.
6) Had an attendant named Gehazi.
7) This one will give it away, so I'll wait on this clue.

I'm almost certain that your quote is from Revelation.

I do have to ask, are you a Jehovah's Witness? (I mostly lurk, so I don't really keep track of people too terribly well). I am not asking to be offensive; my mother is a Jehovah's Witness and I grew up as a Witness (though I myself am currently studying Buddhism). It's a scripture the Witnesses often quote, so I easily recognized that quote.

I've no idea where to even start with your riddle, however.

I suppose I shall follow your rules and provide a scripture, though I myself am not a Christian.

For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

I'm glad you gave the spoiler because that would've bothered me all night lol. That Scripture wasn't ringing ANY bells.
I don't know Psalms nearly as well as I should (which is strange, to me, seeing how most people I know remember Psalms more than anything).

Yeah, I'm one of Jehovah's Witnesses, though I'm currently disfellowshipped. I plan on rejoining though.

You're right about the Scripture I gave being from the book of Revelation. It's Rev. 21:3, 4. Good memory

The last clue for the riddle is:

[Oh no! My kids moved my box of riddle cards!]
I may not have the exact number quite correct, but some 42 boys were killed by a bear after being disrespectful to this Prophet.

WOOT! I got the number correct. It was indeed 42 children.

The name of the Prophet was Elisha.
