I haven't read the whole wall yet, but I shall pounce on this bit. :P
So which media outlet does the devil work for then? Is he behind a desk somewhere, sinisterly putting together everything that goes out on TV, radio, the internet and newspapers? And I suppose God is up there organising broadcasts for the God Channel, and is behind the wave of fundamentalist christianity which is growing in the UK? Culture and the media is created/maintained/changed by people, the devil or God have nothing to do with it.Quote:
The devil has worked very hard, primarily through communications media such as TV, movies, news journalists, and entertainment in general to convince women that marriage is detrimental to their freedom and fulfillment in life. Satan has deceived women into believing that they have the same sexual desire as men and that all differences are the result of culture.
I can't believe people actually say shit like that. "Rock n roll's the devil's work, it'll lead you to damnation!" It's the work of the fucking band who wrote it! Or, "Look at the genocide in Darfur, there's no doubt that Satan exists!" It's not "the devil"'s fault, it's the fault of the men who run rampage with machine guns!
Satan does not control any aspect of society, it's a ridiculous concept. Society evolves over time as a result of innumerable factors. People, experience, technology, government, communication etc. None of them the devil.
Change eh? The devil must have had a hand in Obama's election campaign!Quote:
At the time that this manual was being written, and for the remainder of the time left in this age, the one word that describes the condition of the world is change. All of this change is being accomplished through the work of Satan, as he cannot tolerate anything that originated from God's creation.
So every "change" to society, every new invention, every advancement in science, medical breakthrough or cultural revolution is the work of the devil? This is extreme conservatism, only an absolute idiot would think like this.
Stone-Age extreme conservative man: "Ugghh, me no like hot fire, put it out, no light again!" And thus, Stone-Age extreme conservative man holds up the advancement of the species immeasurably. Fear of "change" can only slow the human race down.
