It is said that Satan is the great deceiver.
What if you reach the pearly gates of heaven and you behold Satan sitting on God's throne. He tells you it was all a grand lie and that God actually lost, which Satan wasn't cast out of heaven, but instead won and has ruled it since then.

All of these hypothetical questions are giving me a headache. They all require me to see God as a white bearded man sitting on a throne high on the sky separate from myself and all of creation. Maybe if you rephrased it to Zeus, then I can understand :?. Otherwise my understanding would say, if God loses, we all lose, and that would include Lucifer.
It's my understanding that Lucifer started deceiving as a way to cheat karma. All dictators do exactly as the biblical Lucifer has done. They manipulate others to do heinous acts. And even if a million people are dead because of this horrible dictator, the great irony is the dictator didn't need to kill anyone by his own hands directly. He had henchmen to do it for him. Consciously or unconsciously, this is what manipulation is all about - cheating karma.
It doesn't work btw.
What if God/Jesus is actually evil, and Satan only betrayed God and was cast out of Heaven because he didn't accept God's evildoing? Maybe Satan only wanted the good?
Yah, that scenario explains the problem with revealed faiths. You can never contest them.

I agree with stoned ape as well from his perspective and would like to expound that it is impossible to separate that which is physical from that which is spiritual. let me elaborate. All that is physical is perceived through awareness or spirit which is ultimately non-physical. So thus it could be likened unto riding a ride called amusement park earth. You can get in the ride or sit by the entrance and wait for the ride to stop. Either way the physical is a focal point of experience for non-physical beings having physical experiences or non-physical beings that are not in the moment physical beings.
Sex is the way that the physical world replicates itself and expands, it is the doorway to life & death.
For me the physical world or sensual world only becomes a problem when I need it or want it to make me happy. For me I am learning happiness is a choice & for me becoming a habitual thought pattern.
It has been my experience that people blame the devil or lucifer for their blunders or make up a reason why they can't accept themselves in the present moment. I am not saying that Lucifer or other dimensional beings don't exist. I am saying I always do the best I can so does everyone else. If we could do better we would do better, wouldn't you?
Lying only comes into play because a faulty awareness says I am responsible for your happiness and I can't be happy until you are happy. Any error comes from our present level of awareness. Now, is that true? Can I make anyone happy? How many things do I have to do for someone to be happy? How many things do others require for me to give them before I am happy? How many things do I have to have or to do before I am happy? When do we stop and choose happiness?
The solution is in our ability to make choices. When we choose for ourselves we think for ourselves. When we defer our responsibility we choose to allow the powers at hand to decide for us ....hello, Satan? he he he where is he in all of this? He can't think for us or decide for us if we think for ourselves.
On another note if Satan is a liar then he is a teacher that teaches us to look within ourselves for our own happiness.

SUMMARY: Satan was here, on earth, before man, kicked out of their original home by God's superior forces. And his demons with him. Earth is now their prison. He hates man and wants war with us. UFO's are real. They are the demons and the devil. Remember, Satan is the prince of the earth and of the air. He rules here until Jesus returns. Yes, there is life on other planets. Do they come visit us? No. God created the universe with great chasms so we cannot visit one another. In the parrable of Lazarus and the Rich Man, we have this verified. Luke 16:26 "And besides all this, between us and you are a great chasm has been fixed, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us." So all these UFO's we see, flying around the earth, are the devil and his demons. We as Christians do not want to make peace with them, buddy up to them or carry on coversations with them. They are not our friends. They will deceive many into believing that they are but understand, they are not. Satan is the great deceiver. So you need another option to vote for that was not given. It should be labeled, NOT THE CASE.

The bible does teach christians to show good examples with moderation in things, shown in Philippians 4:4-7. So it would depend on the context and what kind of sensation/pleasure, and from the bellow reference it is assumed that consciously keeping the focus on Jesus keeps a christian in check because of his example. But its probably "mostly" in check because all christians have to strive for this and no one is sinless. To me it also means not abusing this moderation, but sometimes I think certain experiences were supposed to/ are supposed to happen.Quote:
