Dimethyltryptamine. Heard of it?

I put this thread up because the similarities between a DMT trip and a lucid dream to me seem very similar, or can be. I just want to know how many of you out there have even heard about the universe cannon or if you have tried it what you thought of it. Im not going to go on a long winded explanation about the compounds, theories, research and such because you surely have heard of google. I recommend you do give it a search because it can get extremely weird, especially peoples trip reports. Im interested in finding compelling evidence that links the dreaming state with the release of Dimethyltryptamine in the brain during sleep and death. Obviously you cant cut up a human brain while someone is sleeping so maybe a lot of the evidence out there could just be hocus pocus. Im no scientist but apparently Dimethyltryptamine is what makes us dream.:?
