Ok, so I will be doing a little experiment just for fun on sleep deprivation, the effects of it have been scientifically monitored before and also done through world records but I would like to do a sort of personal experiment on one.
Sleep deprivation also deprives the body of its REM period, as i have heard sleeping after a period of no sleep (1 - 3+ days) makes the body catch up on the REM it's missed, similar to alcohol supressing REM.
I'll post up firstly how this affects my daily life, my physical and mental function whenever i get the chance explaining in as much detail as i can how i'm feeling.
Also i will try to psot up any hallucenations i have had or having and try to post my mental state and how i am reacting to the hallucenations if there are any.
When I decide to finally get some sleep, probably saturday or sunday night at the latest I will attempt a WILD or multiple WILD's depending on how many times i wake up and i will also record down as many dreams as i remember.
No i won't be doing this as a regular thing since i have read up on the health issues of people that regularly get little sleep, this is something for myself for fun and an experience i want to experiment with in my life but also to post online for the pleasure of the readers who may want to look into or relate to what im experiencing.
Day 2: So today is day 2, which is also the day i posted this, it's 5:30am and i woke up 8am the previous morning so 21 and a half hours straight of no sleep.
Now i'll have to be honest i found it difficult to work out how long i had been awake for when working it out mathematically just then.
I'm feeling quite tired my eyes are heavy and it's more difficuly to focus my eyes on the screen than normal and my typing is a little slower, i don't feel many more physical or mental changes at the moment.
