90 Days to Lucid Dreaming

I planned on redoing the 90 Days of WILD thread, but I was requested to broaden it.

Here's what happens:

For the next 3 months, those who choose to participate in this thread will choose one technique and stick with it the entire time. This makes it so you can't be indecisive.


Tell us what technique you will be doing.

so basically the guidelines as it stands are:

1. Stick with one technique
2. Be Honest
3. Post either Daily, or at the end of each week.(If you don't have time to post one day, just write it in the next)
4. When you get lucid, describe it in full detail, or if you keep a dream journal on Dreamviews, link us to that.
5. Have fun!

MILD Day #1 Log
Went to bed around 11:30.

Alarms set for 4:50, 4:55, and 5:00. (To keep me up for 10 mins.)

I didn't have a lucid dream, sadly... :(

Here is my DJ post for today, it's really short I didn't remember much.

Spoiler for DAY 1 DJ POST:

Me and my friend Logan were walking around and we saw an old 10 story brick apartment. It had a balcony at every room, and at eaach balcony someone would stand on it and it would be one of my friends.

I slightly remember me and my friends being captured by this giant robotic alien worm, and we were on its ship.
I had a dream where there was a missing baby at the hospital.

I had a dream that I got a job working for Nintendo, and I got to use some new type of DS. Also I got free drinks!

set alarm for 7:30. attempted wild, got really relaxed, lost awareness. No recall :p


I Consider this a success though, because this is the first time I've went to bed before 3 in the morning in like a month.

MILD for me, will try to post daily and dreams will be in my DJ :)

day 1

1 dream, my recall was low because I have a big exam today and because I couldn't sleep.

3 dreams, all extremely aggresive doing sat consistently

MILD Day #2 Log
Went to bed at about 12:30

Alarms: 4:45
No Lucid Dream.... :(

Same as yesterday, don't remember much of my dream.

Spoiler for DAY 2 DJ ENTRY:

I was playing a basketball game. I was on the worst team, so whenever I stole the ball and tried to shoot, everyone would discourage me, saying he's on team 5, he can't make it! This happened like 3 times and I missed each shot. Well after that game I followed my friend Evan to biology class, but I forgot my textbooks, so I had to go to my locker and get them real quick.

There was some circular roof of a building, which was surrounded mostly by hills so it wasn't dangerous, where me and a bunch of friends would hang out after school and play games. From this spot I could see my brother Adam flying around in an Iron Man suit.

I also saw these 2 pretty sisters with lots of makeup on, but I realized they used to be conjoined, so they would be kind of gross looking without makeup. I decided not to talk too much with them.

Day 2
No WILD, but I got my recall back, which is a win i'd say :D.

I stole a flying car in my dream :D

Going to try WILD for these next 3 months.

DAY 2
Dreams have been getting a tad more sad, more vivid, i am still on sat.

I have decided to take WILD rather as my time schedule really doesn't suit MILD. Sorry for the change. I did have a lucid today, on day 2, but I am not certain whether it was a DILD or a WILD. Dreams and fragments can be found in my DJ.

Day 3.

Improved recall. No luck with WILD. going to switch up my anchor thingy.

it seems like WILD is the more... time schedule obstructive of the 2.

MILD Day #3
Still no lucid yet and I've been having bad dream recall since I started tis, I think I'm gonna change my alarms to a different time. /:

Day 3

Unable to recall any dreams due to stress. I fell asleep during my WILD attempt. I'm quite busy at the moment with exams so I will be less stressed next Thursday :)

MILD Day 4
Didn't wake up to Alarms, but woke up once or twice in the middle of the night. I told my self to wake up after my dreams and I did, so I was pretty happy! :) No lucid, but very vivid dream recall.

Day 4.

Pretty vivid recall, but I overslept my WBTB alarm.

Day 5

Going to tweak my WILD a bit, longer WBTB and such. No WILDs, but some decent recall.

MILD Day 5
No lucid dream yet, but I have been getting my recall back, I remembered about 5 dreams tonight! I had to write notes on some of the dreams because I couldn't write the full dreams down before church haha!

Day 6

I skipped my WBTB today since I stayed up a bit later than I should have, But I got lucid in my dream.

In my lucid, I was at a concert, but the band that came out performing their song... like.. didn't have the right members, So I reality checked, and became lucid. right afterwards, everything went black, and I couldn't see anything. I sat up, assuming I just woke up, and then I pried my eyes open. I was in my room. I just assumed I woke up (I wasn't fully lucid) and walked out and cleaned my house. and then woke up...

MILD Day 6
Partially lucid, I had a few dreams about peeing, then I peed in a urinal and as I was doing that I knew I was dreaming and immediately woke up by instinct, to check if I was... dry. I was dry so I'm very grateful about that :P

I didn't attempt WILD as I wrote 2 massive exams today so I needed my sleep. Will attempt it tomorrow again :P

My phone was on silent, and therefore, so was my alarm. No WILD attempt, which is good I guess. I don't want to get to burnt out to quickly.

MILD Day 7
I went to bed late, and I was super tired. I didn't recall any dreams and missed my alarm. But I'm feeling lucky, so... lucid dream tonight!

This is were we are at, FUCK SAT. Im moving to wild.

MILD Day 8
Nothing special, just a normal night.

MILD Day 9
Had verry vivid dreams and good recall but still no lucid. 81 days to go, so i think I can sill get a few. :P

Day... whatever the fuck it is.
No recall, failed WILD. But oh well :P

I've decided to switch to WILD, I wanna do that instead.

Well... since everyone else is pussing out. I'm switching to MILD. rofl xD

WILD Day 10
I messed up the WILD, but I did have a lucid! It was right at the end of a REM cycle though so it was short. It will be in my DJ later.

You really shouldn't just hop to Mild. Wild can fail because its quite an advanced technique, instead you could first try Deild. No.1 rule = don't chicken out. after months of practising various methods I had my first Deild, its extremely effective but even now I'm still perfecting how to do it. You have to take your time with Deild and Wild and keep trying with a high enthusiasm ;)

WILD Day 11
Today was one of my bad days... no lucid and I only remember a fragment of some dream...

Sorry for my inactivity, this week has been lots of hospital visits, and babysitting. so In short... no Recall haha

Funny how like after 7 days some people started losing hope, I't took me over three months to learn the proper techniques.

Well, I'm going to start my 90 days over again. So... :p

I'm going to be focusing mostly on DEILD but if I move too much when I wake up after my dream, which happens often as I usually kick awake. Then I think I would try to WILD. I had some intense sleep paralysis and hynagogic imagery with my DEILD last night but it's not a very vivid memory because I had just woken up. :P
