I have been posting on and off on dreamviews for a few years. One of my posts involves my belief that hormones possibly play a role in my lucid dreams and the fact that since entering menopause I don't have lucid dreams anymore.

Then in January I had several lucid dreams and I was delighted but I was also wondering why I started to have them again after a dry spell of several years. I think I have found out why.

A few weeks ago my building was evacuated because of a build up of carbon monoxide gas. Carbon monoxide is odorless but I had been smelling exhaust for a minimum of several weeks before the evacuation. The night we were evacuated I had the most vivid, excitiing dreams I had in years.

The problem is fixed with the carbon monoxide now. I have stopped dreaming again. I will be curious to see if I can still lucid dream again. We will see.

IN THE MEANTIME: I KNOW SOME OF YOU WILL DO ANYTHING TO GET A LUCID DREAM. DO NOT TRY TO USE ANYTHING TO DO WITH CARBON MONOXIDE. IT IS DEADLY.
