Learning whilst lucid - An ongoing experiment.
The dream world will become a school where knowledge from the world shall be taught.
It is just a matter of time, and the advancment of technology.
Imagine being shown how dinosaurs walked. Not just an impression in some badly drawn book.
You would witness the first steps of Neil Armstrong as he made history.
Medical techniques could be shown without the need for tools, or even live subjects. The cancer cell could be examined in great detail by researchers.
Mental traumas could be more directly treated.
Physics, chemistry, in fact, all subjects could be brought into the dream world, and taught.
The waking time spent on learning will be drasticly reduced.
There is no part of life that will not benifit from guided lucid dreaming.
So I am dedicating this thread to the advancement of learning through dreaming.
My first attempt at getting information into a dream will be with the use of audio books.
I will use an ipod, or similar device to switch on after a two hour period.
The first problem I can forsee is the volume of the speakers.
They have to be set quiet enough not to wake me up, but loud enough to hear in a dream.
Second is to get the right tone of the narrator.
Some voices are very easy to listen to, whilst others can cut right through a person.
Third problem is setting off the audio at the time of dreaming.
If you have any suggestions on what to listen to, or how to improve on any aspect of this thread then please chip in.
