      Neural Integration

      Okay, so I got this idea from a book I borrowed at the library, it's fiction. But please, hear me out, I am going somewhere with this, it wont be fictional at all, and it will tie into lucid dreaming. Anyway, the premise of this book is that there are people out there called Greater-thans who have learned to access and use the parts of our brains that we don't use much in the first place (the fact that we only use is 10% of our brains is a myth to me, just so we get that out of the way). This allowes them to have powers such as telekinesis, the ability to read minds. to stop and bounce back bullets, and other cool stuff. To do this they have to learn to become more neuraly integrated and there are those who are more integrated and powerful than others. So, that got me thinking and asking what would happen if neural integration was possible? I know we wouldn't get paranormal powers but what would happen in reality? Curiosity got the best of me at 5am so I googled neural integration. It is a real, scientific thing and the book touches on this sort of but it's not exactly as it is portrayed. Basically there is divergence, where one neuron in the brain is connected to many in a pyramid type structure. Each neruron connected to that one neuron may react differently. Then there is convergance which the exact opposite, many neurons connected to one neuron. In neural integration two diffferent signals or activities get so interconnected that they start to get wired to one neuron. Like if learned to play piano and do math at the same time, from what I've gathered, the neurons in my brain that control my ability to do math and play piano would become integrated, convergence would occur. the same kind of occurance and paradox can be seen when we lucid dream. We are asleep, totally unaware of it. Yet suddenly, we realize we are sleeping and treat our dream state as if it's conscious reality that we ultimately bend and shape. I've been listening to Isochronic pulses for a week now to make my lucid dreams more frequent and I am getting results, some unexpected and strange, but it is helping me gian control of my dreams. I've sort of been my own experimental guiney pig and I'm sorry if this is the wrong catagory. It seemed pretty sciency and experimental to me. Anyway, I'm going to try neural integration with the Isochronic pulses. I'll graduate to more complex tasks and it will involve me eventually learning some advanced math since I've only made it as far as pre-algebra in school. My first task will be to sketch works of art with my left hand, which I am very capable of, and do math with the right. I will make the math harder and harder as I go and we will see what happens.

      Follow-up on neural integration. Progress and observations.

      4/22/14, fresh notes, just wrote these observations.

      My first attempt involved doing math with my left hand and drawing with my right. I quickly realized this exercise was not challenging enough. Instead, I downloaded a simple math app on my phone, which generates random problems. I proceeded to uncover my piano and play "Fur Elise" with my right hand, a song I have practiced for many hours and know well, while imputing answers and solving simple multiplication problems with my left hand. It suddenly became a challenge to play "Fur Elise" with my right hand. I had a hard time even remembering what notes came next when I normally play it perfectly. I also had moments where I had problelms imputing answers with my left hand. I even had to pause to think occasionally to answer the easiest multiplication problems. After doing this for about ten minutes I stopped. Initially I had a hard time remembering how to scroll through the menus on my phone. It was as if my brain was rebooting. After a few minutes the mental fog cleared and things returned to normal. Obviouslly the neurons that control my ability to play piano and do math are not integrated. Will continue these sessions with further, noted observations.

      You should read some stuff about tulpas
      It might interest you, since it's kinda related to overcoming 10 percent use of our brains

      @drmsweep

      Very good post. belive it or not, i´ve been doing same research for quite a while now. although the term "Neural Integration" seems new to me i know the concept behind it. most times it´s called "Neuro Plasticity".
      have u done something regarding LD?

      what´s the book called you had read?

      Hi

      by Tulpas do you mean a thoughtform?
      how can this help you to activate hidden parts of the brain?

      can you elaborate on this more plz?

      From what i've readed / heard
      Person and tulpa have different seperate thinking / thought processes
      So wouldn't owning 10 tulpas increase your thinking power by 10?
      If each one of you had a specific task / mathematical equation to solve wouldn't that make it possible to solve them all as if it was just one?

      I'm going to have to try to answer all your questions at once. I have a lot of things going on so I apologize if I don't reply quickly as I am in the process of possibly becoming a correcions officer and if this doesn't work out, joining the Navy. I am way out out of shape and have been working out for about a week for the physical fitness course and possibly boot camp. Plus, I'm in bible college, pastoral ministry major, and hoping to finish getting my degress before I go into corrections or enlist. Anyway, the book I'm talking about it called "Born Into Darkness" written by Suzanne Brockmann. I've been listening to Isochronic pulses and tyring to focus on lucid dreaming through the day to try to bump up my lucid dreams to more than once every few months. However, my goal for the last 3 weeks has been to stop my nightmares. They are very disturbing...I've seen a whole lot of death in those dreams. Like natural disasters and seeing the bodies lying everywhere and people crying over them, some have included bloody and graphic dismemberment, I've had people chase me and they literally burst into flames and are reduced to a pile of ashes in seconds, or even one of the kids I used to hang with at youth group being beaten and killed for her faith. And, yes, I did see her bloody and broken corpse in that dream too. I'm sure you get the idea by now. I have gained a degree of overall control over my dreams with the Isochronic pulses so I haven't had a horrific dream I started listening to them. As far as elaborating on my above mentioned concepts. I don't know how to be any clearer. I'm sorry, with some things I just have this weird, almost instinctive understanding. For some people that just makes me seem weird, crazy, or I just go above their head and lose them. Lastly, I don't beliee we use only 10% of our brains. If you know me for any amount of time you discover I can be stubborn as a mule and very opionated. I won't respond to questions about that because I feel its pointless. Anyway, If anyone has any more questions feel free to ask. It just may take me a day or two to respond.

      Oh...brain got ahead of me. I just realized some of those questions weren't directed at me. Coffee, plus stress, plus my mind going 100 miles an hour equal chaos. But everything I said about my nightmares and all is true.

      So, this isn't so much about my experiment really, but I will do another session with piano and math today so I'll probably have some new observations later, I'm just wondering how something I started taking yesterday will affect things. If I concentrate on my hand I see my aura now. It's whitish, clear, and ripples like you see heat coming off the pavement in summer. Anyay, this is how ilt went down. In light of working in the corrections system or possibly joining the Navy I started taking some dietary supplements I had taken before to help me build muscle. The stuff is called BCAA and just has a ton of amino acids, which help you build muscle. I was almost out so I went back to the place I bought it and asked what they recommended based on my situation. They recommended Bulgarian Tribulus, which contians Steroidal Saponins. I know you probably thinking "Steroids! Is that legal?" I did some research and no, they will not make me test positive for drugs. They stimulate the parts of my body that produce testostrone and growth hormones. If you want to know some more fun facts I wrote a few things down;

      Saponins are a class of chemical compounds found in particular abundance in various plant species. Steroidal Saponins are a steroid "building block" that are a blueprint for the body to create its own sterioids. According to the Southest school of Botany, they are not actual steroids. Steroidal Saponins also come from the fruit of Tribulus Terrestris.

      Anyway, it is helping already. I took my first dose yesterday and without being too graphic my sex drive has gone up. I also took my 2nd dose a little while ago. I couldn't work out yesterday due to rain so I feel like I have a whole, whole lot of excess energy to burn. Yes, I admit it, I have been checking out my upper body in the mirror in the morning for signs of muscle growth. But I'm sure most guys who are trying to put on muscle do that anyway lol. My upper body already looked leaner, my stomach a little flatter. But, the point is since its stimulating my body the way it is, I wonder if it will affect, even speed up my neural integration. According to what feels like my increased metabolism, sex drive, and muscle tone, it could be possible.

      I've decided I'm going to pull the plug on this research. Honestly, I feel like I'm starting to get into twilight zone territory here and its making me nervous. Also, I need to finish school, there are other things I would rather spend my time on, and I just have too much going on. I guess in conclusion, I would say the Isochronic pulses are affecting my mind more and more as I listen to them. Thoughts are more connected, mental processes are clearer and quicker, and they've already done what I was hoping they would do; help end my nightmares. As far as the Bulgarian Tribulus, I'm dropping weight and bulking up fast. Most of the time I'm eager to rut now and my aggression is higher. Sometimes I feel like a bull in heat, a stag, a dog, whatever critter you want to use. I've also been studying music composition/theory for the last two months and up until last night I hadn't sat down to apply what I've learned and compose. I've been working on learning "My Immortal" from Evanescence. I have the sheet music and I know how to read it. I identified the melodic intervals in My Immortal last night. I only did the first four verses but I used them as the model for my own melodic composition. When I hear the song I think sad, heart broken woman. However, what I brewed up...it still retains the same dark, haunting sound but after comparing them what I wrote made me think "I'm going to kick your ass." There is nothing soft about my version, it has jagged, almost wicked under tones. I don't even know what kind of lyrics I would write for it. Anyway, my point is I would rather spend some time composing music on my piano than working on my neural integration. I will keep posting in the dream journal when I achieve lucidity and posting in the forums. Peace out.

      If you are still looking at posts I would suggest something. One is to make a tulpa far enough that it can help think for you and second is to start thinking of things that you do subconsciously. The second might sound dumb but if you consciously think about things you do subconsciously it will strengthen the bond between the subconscious and conscious to make it easier to memorize small things. I use it to gain lucidity by forcing the idea of where I went to bed temporarily into my subconscious so I will remember where I was last before I went to bed to get instant lucidity. From there I organize and funnel the thinking power of myself and the tulpas to change any and all aspects of my dreams that I wish.
      The main part of controlling nightmares it to kick logic out and make the impossible possible.

      Thank you for the advice. For religious reasons I can't make a tulpa...it goes against my beliefs. I haven't really been trying to lucid dream as much as I was before. My nightmares have ceased and I'm having a spiritual breakthrough. Lets just say I was looking for love and intimacy in the wrong places. For me, the true source of love and intimacy is God. The movie "The Host" helped me to see that, also me bawling like a six year old girl after a movie is something I've never done before. I'm going on 6 consecutive days of sobriety from my bad habits...I've never felt better : ).
