Depends on whether I feel safe outside, if there are people around that might mess with me. I prefer meditating in nature if there is nobody around but I usually don't get that option. The easiest place for me to meditate is wherever there are the fewest distractions.
edit: I usually meditate in the shower, fewest distractions for me there and the sound of running water is calming.
I meditate inside but because there's no other option where I live. If I had a forest to meditate I'd prefer it a million times than where I do now, in the terrace under all the stars, as there's no noise here.
How about a nice, windy hill?
Sunlight. Oh so good. I prefer outside. A slight wind and sunlight. Loads of sunlight.
Outside is amazing if you can find somewhere without being disturbed.
Tried meditation today with mantras, visuals, and all sorts of stuff. Gonna see what happens tonight, WILD attempt. (Otherwie DILD attempt.)
I find both easy, it is more fun outdoors! Everything is better outside. ;) everything.
Since I have an issue with falling asleep if it's too comfortable I tend to be unable to properly meditate inside, which is especially bad for dealing with Tulpas. But meditating outside works just about fine, and I do have a certain place on a certain mountain which is not too far from me which is pretty good for meditating. I have quite an awesome view from up there, and that helps as well.
Depends on the meditation.
Both. I just need to be alone enough, although if I had to choose, I would prefer to do it outdoors.
i like the outdoors because the fresh air and ambient sounds of nature is very soothing for meditative or reflective exercises.. but essentially you can meditate anywhere at anytime (even when walking or showering), using different meditation techniques.
