University study in Missouri investigating lucid dreams--in need of local participants

Hello dreamers,

I am conducting a study at the University of Missouri-St. Louis that investigates dreams by way of lucid dreaming participants. The study involves a lucid dreaming task that is done at home, although the study requires a quick visit to our campus.

I know this may be a long-shot, since DreamViews is a global community, but lucid dreaming participants are difficult to come by and I am doing everything I can to find them!

Anyone (above 18) who can lucid dream can participate! And compensation is involved. For more information see the attached flyer and check out this link.

**Just to be clear, participation requires a visit to the University of Missouri campus in St. Louis.

why do you need to be above 18. any aged person can lucid dream :D

It's because it's research. According to most IRBs (Institutional Research Boards) you need to be above 18. Studies involving participants who are below the ages of 18 involve a lot more work (such as getting the parent's signature and there might be more restrictions on what you can do to the subjects are well) so unless your topic is specific towards younger demographics (such as studying cognitive functions of elementary students) most research default to must be 18 or older.

Just wanted to say good luck with your study! As a researcher myself I know it's a pain to get participants, getting participants who can lucid dream is probably way difficult. It sounds like a very interesting experiment. You have a control group too right? A group that will try to recall the room without having a lucid dream?
