Please see below for research I am currently conducting on Out-of-Body Experiences until tonight (14th, 23:50 GMT), which I hope you will be interested in participating in. We still need more participants so if you have had an OBE please consider this.

Have you had an ‘Out-of-Body Experience'?

Request for research participants

Have you had one or more Out-of-Body Experiences (OBEs) in which it seems as if your sense of self or consciousness has become separated from your physical body? These experiences can occur under a variety of conditions.

If you have experienced one or more OBEs, researchers at Nottingham Trent University are interested to hear from you about your experience(s).

Please note the study will close on 14th August 2014 23:50 GMT (extended from 31st July 2014). Details of how to participate in their study can be found here (please copy this into a browser as I can't currently post links - any problem let me know):

Thank you andrew, I filled out the survey.

Yes, I have had several OBEs.

These were all induced intentionally using WILD techniques and the dream chaining technique.

I have had chains of several OBEs (four or more) in a row.

For me, OBEs offer the easiest route to entering a lucid dream.

Apologies for the long delay in replying! That is great to hear you have multiple OBEs. If you got to participate in the survey I hope you found it interesting and thank you. You of course don't need to mention here either way whether you participated or not (unless you want to).

Hi everyone,

Please see below for research I am conducting on Out-of-Body Experiences which I hope you will consider participating in as this finishes soon. I had a separate thread about this on here but sadly seems to have been deleted and this old survey thread kept so am posting about it here.

The official close date is end of today (23:50 GMT) in an hour and a half's time. The survey will take approximately 20-30 minutes (including the surrounding reading and is shorter than the previous survey). However, if you just miss the deadline please do click the survey link (contained within the website link below) and if it still active you can still participate. It may be open for a while after tonight (midnight UK time) but we can't change the official close date. Please send me a message if you are unsure.

Anyone who can participate I would appreciate that as it is really important to have as many as possible (and you can submit more than 1 experience if you wish to as we are studying experiences not people).

Please note: If you participated in the earlier version of the survey you can still participate in this one and submit different and/or the same OBEs (full information on the website and the survey), as this is an adapted version.

Same here, I thought all obes/ndes were regarded as dreams.
The experiences that these people experience of death, I can experience same exact
scenario, doesnt mean I was dying.
