I think the options for the question “How often do you lucid dream?” are a little too subjective. Some people would say once a week is ‘quite often’ while others would call every night often. It would be better to answer something like ‘at least once a week’ or ‘once a month’.

I suggest you set up a surveymonkey or something similar using an actual hosting website. It's easier to compile the data and it organizes it faster than you going through individual responses here. It also stops the thread from getting filled with long posts containing information that could easily be entered elsewhere. I believe there are some free websites you can do this through and it would probably work better for both parties.

Please describe one of the lucid dreams you had that you remember most. There is no need to include details you’re not comfortable with.

I lay on the floor imagining a friendly rat scrambling up a pole and spiraling down in time with my breathing. Then I opened and closed my legs, clumsily dragging my body around 180°. Then I rolled on my side on my elbow,, holding my head up with my hand and was putting a tape in my taperecorder. A silver taperecorder began sliding towards me.

      I said out loud

      "That's impossible! I'm dreaming!

I get up and throw a dress on. As I'm opening the door I notice my dress is inside-out. I think

"I'm covered,. I won't have long out of my body and I'm not going to waste time fiddling with this dress".

      (...)

It was a very interesting and long OBE. I couldn't fly but got to England from Australia and back again. Then I was walking through familiar streets, hoping to get back to my real physical body and reenter it, properly, before I wake-up.

But two dogs cam bounding out of a yard. I kept my eye on one of them cos he wanted to nip me. And I woke-up. I was so disappointed because without a proper reentry it could easily have been just an interesting dream and not an OBE.

And I have neer had the likes before or since even though I have been trying cinse I was 10. I am 55 now

      9
Did your lucid dreams occur naturally or did you learn to lucid dream?

I was trying hard but it was still spontaneous.

      10*
which technique do you usually use to induce lucid dreaming?

WILD (wake initiated lucid dreams)

DILD (Dream Induced Lucid Dreams)

MILD (Mnemonically Induced Lucid Dreams)

DEILD stands for Dream Exit Initiated Lucid Dreams)

my lucid dreams occur naturally

      Other (Please Specify)

I once heard a story that meant, if you could get your aggressively demanding Genie (you mind) to follow your breath (like eternally climbing and descending a pole), untill you had a job for it to do, you would have perfect peace and be free (from your chattering and endlessly desiring, mind).

That spiritual story inituated my Lucid Dream.

      11*
how long do your lucid dreams last?

      not really sure
(seemed like 20 minutes of real time)

      12

      13*
How do you think lucid dreaming can help us in real life?*

I've always wanted to see the real world, in real time, out of my body. I have no real interest in the fantasy of Lucid Dreaming, as such. I want to stand beside my real body and look at it. Then reenter it consciously, remembering everything. Then I'll know I am not just this body. I indulge in lots of fascinating belief systems BUT I KNOW nothing.

      #1-Male
      #2-Under 18
      #3-Yes
#4-When I was 5 I woke up one night unable to move or scream with a shadowy figure exuding pure evil standing over me
#5-Only once when I was five.
#6-I've had lucid fragments less than a month ago, but my last longish coherent lucid dream was less than a year ago
      #7-Almost never
#8-Taken from my DJ entry: " *Blackness* Then, a tunnel of light rushes towards me and I'm standing on a road by two buildings. A vast expanse of water lies before me. I already know I'm dreaming and I stand in the middle of the street trying to think of what to do. I see a stop sign to my left and decide to go over and touch it. It feels cool to the touch and is nicely rounded. Then I walk towards the water.
*I feel my waking body move and decide to try stabilizing my dream*
I rub my hands together but I can still feel my physical body
I then think that to forget about my physical body i have to get caught up in the dream. I then leap into the air and... get stuck mid air because I realize I don't know how to fly. I try willing myself forward but the dream starts becoming blurry and then It just slips away and... I wake up."
#9-Only after I heard about the concept did I have my first LD
      #10-DILD
      #11-Several minutes
      #12-less vivid than reality
#13-Lucid dreaming allows escape from reality. Just like a good book or movie will make you forget about your body, so will a good dream.

      1: Male
      2: 19-24
      3: yes
4: A heaviness in my chest, not necessarily hard to breath but I was more conscious of it. Room seemed darker than usual, and my heart rate began to accelerate. I tried to calm myself down and use this moment to try a WILD. I ended up just falling asleep like normal. Overall, not a bad experience.
      5:
seldom

      6: less than a week

      7: quite often

8: You can check out my dream journal here, it has most of my interesting/memorable experiences.
9: Kind of a mix. I taught myself when I was young to deal with nightmares then picked it back up several years ago. Technically learned.
10: MILD and DEILD (I merge a lot of them)
11: several minutes to an hour, normally 10-20 minutes.
      12: As vivid as reality

13: Helps with mental issues such as anxiety, depression and fears. Things that are primarily in your head lucid dreaming gives a safe and unique environment in which you can practice dealing with them.
14: I suggest you take a stab at it yourself to experience it first hand (if you haven't already). It's great fun and a wonderful thing to get into, in addition to making your paper better.

3 only when waking from void / attempting WILD (never succeeded)

4 This morning as I entered the void, my dream body became paralized, I could only rub my little fingers against my dream hand, until finally
I could only rub one (strangely I could clearly hear the sound of it, I tired to replicate in waking world was at least 10x the sound) eventually
I tired of the battle of being in a paralized dream body with only one finger, and I tried to break paralysis, my mind couldn't decide between
paralized dream body and paralized real body, but I tried to move every body part I could after about 4 seconds of lurching about I woke up.
In attempting WILD I always want to test and see if I can move a finger or toe a bit (then I move them to much)
after 1Hr 15min of not moving I almost got totally paralized but then I kept having to swallow, not moving my mouth seems impossible.

      5 rarely experienced it

6 This morning, but it was the weirdest one yet, it lasted about 10+ minutes, it was Muppet world -> claymation world -> bizzaro world
and yesterday I had a lucid that was totally realistic too, plus one brief dream that I was only lucid for 5seconds (the shortest yet,
still would have been time to stabalize, always stabalize step one) the first time I have ever triggered from a recurring dream

7 first time recently 4 months ago, frequency 1 per month, but this last month frequency 1.5 per weekend (I only have had on Sat/Sun/Mon
never a proper week day night)

      8
Please describe one of the lucid dreams you had that you remember most. There is no need to include details you’re not comfortable with.
I had awoken for real got up and took a shower and was sitting on the edge of my bed, I held up my hand and opened it saying this never
(closed my hand and opened it again) works then it came back to me. IT WORKED LAST TIME!!! suddenly I rememberd my 3 minute first recent
lucid dream. I was outside my house walking out the front sidewalk in the center of our entirely rocked yard. There were no cars on the
street but at least 50 people walking along, and it was broad daylight (I think it must have been several minutes into a false awakening)
I thought this can't be real. So I brought up my hand. 1,2,3,4,5 What this is real? No way? closed hand then opened again 1,2,3,4 and a
transparent pinky makes 5. WHAT? Staring at the pinky it becomes very solid. All the people in the street are standing still now (that
had all been walking towards the main street in the same direction at the same pace). As I stared at my hand I noticed that my fingers
didn't seem as stuby as usual, so two of them decided to get in character and started to shrink, then they began to twist and distort a bit
bending and rotating and continuing to shrink as I stared constantanly at my pinkey. [I want to point out that my RC served 3 purposes
for this dream 1) detection 2) focus and stabilization 3) recall (because I had actually forgotten the whole thing)] I didn't even know
how important stabilization was, but since my next 2 lucid dreams one and two months latter lasted a grand total of 1 minutes, it is the
most improtant thing. Because of the staring in this first lucid dream it lasted a total of about 3 minutes. It also gave me total lucidity
and good sense of control. (in every long lucid dream I have there is always something against me) I decided to command the dream people
I called out to one of them 'come here' immediately they began moving towards me, then one of the other DC said "no don't go" and they stopped
I was incensed I raised my hand and called to them "COME HERE" they began moving agian, and again the same DC said "NO DON"T GO OVER THERE".
I couldn't beleive it I was beeing DREAM HECKELED. I decided to turn my view so that I couldn't see the DC and called to another dream person
"come here" they immediately began walking towards me. Then the world it self which was ultra realistic and vivid, turned against me.
I looked down and suddenly noticed the grass was 2 feet tall (there is no grass in the yard) and that it was coming up at about 1 inch per
second, I knew it was going to block the dream person, and also engulf me in a matter of seconds. So I pulled up my other hand and tried to
command it to stop, then I decided I was doomed and had better do something, I attemted to do 3 things at once, command the person, control the
grass and perform a dream task, my attention was divided the dream world disolved.

I felt very lucky to have a dream I could draw so many lessons from. And lucky to have had my first intentional lucid dream actually last
      3 full mintues.

9 Had had 5 or so lucid dreams long ago (20+ years spontaneously) but recently learning the skill

      10*
which technique do you usually use to induce lucid dreaming?

WILD never succeeded but only tried a few times

DILD one trigger form RC, several from impossible events, several from seeing deceased people or animals (tho I often fail to trigger from this)
      one trigger from recurring dream

DEILD beginning to attempt came close yesterday but it seems as difficult as WILD

11 half of my dreams lasted less than 1 minute
      the first lasted 3 minutes
the other half in the 10-20 mintue range

12 most are quite real, but muppet/clamation/bizzaro world was the first time in a truely freaky land, it started out fine but every time
I commanded a dream character to look better they looked worse, finally one of them was partially invisible, it was ridiculous
my dream hands looked like they belonged to mickey mouse, and latter they looked like they were manufactured by fisher-price
they even had decals on them

13 I think artists can envision masterpeices by mearly asking for one in their dreams, but as for me who knows if there is anything
      beyond fun

14 Wish I could hear a good description of what exactly not to do in WILD DELID and what the last few seconds / or second is like before
      entering lucid dream

1* -- Please fill in your gender: Female

2* -- Please fill in your age: 35 to 44

3* -- Have you ever experienced sleep paralysis? Yes? I've experienced REM atonia. "Sleep paralysis" is a contentious term because so many people associated it with very specific emotional or resonant qualities such as "fear" or "presences." I have experienced distinctive sensations in my body that I associate with the paralysis characteristic of REM sleep, but there has never been anything alarming about it, because I understood what was going on. There was a time when I was very young when I became lucid during a nightmare, woke myself up, and was unable to move or open my eyes. That was a bit disturbing (since I didn't understand what was going on) and was probably also a manifestation of sleep paralysis.

4 -- If yes, please describe one of your sleep paralysis experiences. If no, please*ignore this question.*There is no need to include information you are not comfortable with.* REM atonia or "sleep paralysis," as I've experienced it, is characterized by ambiguity. If you go into it with a degree of consciousness, it becomes hard to know whether any particular sensation of "movement" is physical or dreamed. The best way to be sure is to try to move in a way that would be impossible for the physical body.

5 -- How often do you experience sleep paralysis? I haven't done a rigorous assessment, but I associate it most with entering WILDs. Given your choices, I will answer "sometimes when I lucid dream."

6* -- When was the last time you had a lucid dream? Dream of 10/30 (it is 11/2 as I write this) was semi-lucid, dream of 10/14 was more fully lucid, and 10/7 was extremely lucid. Since lucidity is on a continuum rather than an either/or, it is hard to give a specific answer, but based on your choices I'll go with "less than a month."

7* -- How often do you lucid dream? This question does need a more specific set of responses. I'll go with 1-4 times a month, on average, which I would correlate to "sometimes."

8 -- Please describe one of the lucid dreams you had that you remember most. There is no need to include details you’re not comfortable with. My dream journal entries are hella long. Far too long to copypasta here. Please look through my DJ if you want concrete examples.

9 -- Did your lucid dreams occur naturally or did you learn to lucid dream? I've had LDs naturally, on a very infrequent basis, throughout my life ever since I can remember. It was only since 2010 that I learned how to induce them deliberately. Not sure which answer is closer.

10* -- which technique do you usually use to induce lucid dreaming? I started with MILD, but now WILD is the only technique that works reliably for me. However, my WILDs almost always include DEILD chains, so it's not necessarily helpful to include these as separate categories. Science likes precision, I know, but RL is not always so accommodating.

11* -- how long do your lucid dreams last? This is hard to say. Judging from the times I've recorded between WBTBs and getting up to record dreams I would say 15-30 minutes is typical.

12 -- How realistic are your lucid dreams? What do you mean by "realistic"? This could mean any number of things. It's like art, you know? Do you mean "realistic" in sensual impressions or "realistic" in terms of scenarios and abilities? Even in nineteenth-century painting there was a big difference between technical and social realism (compare Thomas Eakins and Gustave Courbet). Seriously, you've got to think more deeply about how you word these questions.

13* -- How do you think lucid dreaming can help us in real life?* "The world is too much with us." Wordsworth wrote that. It's really a problem, given how much emotion people invest in worldly issues. Dreaming reveals us the open space between our minds and our daily lives. With sufficient reflection, this could lead to less volatile and reactive behavior.

14 -- Is there anything else you want to add about this (suggestions, comments, etc)? Please feel free to leave a message! Thank you very much for your participation. It's hard to make lucid dreaming the topic of survey responses because it exists on a continuum, it is not an either/or.

      Yes,
      4
twice, but only when I was "shocked awake"
      5
Twice in the last 2 and a half years.
      6
A couple days ago. Freaking new job is killing my dream schedule
      7
About 7 times a week. Not really once per night, but about 4 nights a week.
      8
Lots a good stuff in my DJ. Prolly want to check out piqued interest or moon sharing. Those were super awesome ones that I had in the beginning. I have had a lot cooler now, and with better everything, but the beginning of everything is always special.
      9
      I learned.
      10
Generally all of them... it is all a correlation of all of them that I made, since I noticed that all people that LD regularly have their own technique.
Not to be picky, but DILD is initiated. There are only two methods, DILD and wild. Everything else is a technique for a method. If you find a DILD that does not include any type of mnemonic, let me know.
Generally I have a wild a week and a couple deilds. The others are DILD.
      11
anywhere from a couple seconds to days. on average I would say between 10-20 minutes (or 15 minutes. Lol)
      12
Anywhere from not being able to use most of my senses (try moving without any of sense of touch or sight, haha, or being in a completely silent world) to having all 5 measurable senses + some more. realism varies depending on what you are talking about, but vividness is probably what you are after with this question, so if on a scale of 1 to 10, how vivid (with 5 being waking life), it would topple under 1 and over 10 at times, because it is just that awesome that it is way more and less than waking life. Hope this gives you a good idea on what you are wanting. Remember that if you are asking how "real" something is, then "real"ity would be the highest marker. So it can be as realistic as real life as well.
      13
      Creative Problem solving
      Stress
      Sleep schedule
Better connections with real people (I dunno about you, but I love humans much more when I am away from them for a while, and it is nice to know that what you are talking to also has a point of view that will last)
      14
I would recommend a LD count and things like "how much time a day do you spend working on dreams", "how much sleep a night", "how often do you meditate (any form)", "can you incubate dreams", "how long have you been lucid dreaming"

These dig more into the deep part of what I think LDers need to notice so that we can teach.

Though, Tina, I believe that, by prioritizing "SP" as you did, you might be missing the point of LD'ing, any choice to report on the subject academically ought to be supported, so here's what I got:

      1. Male
      2. 45 - 54
      3. Sure; Experienced REM atonia as well, which is usually what the "SP" people refer to on these forums reaally is.
      4. No need to describe, as "SP" is irrelevant to LD'ing.
      5. Doesn't matter.
      6. Less than a week.
      7. Quite often.
      8. (Pass)
      9. Learned
      10. DEILD (which is a form of WILD, BTW) most of the time, though plenty of DILD's and WILD's as well. [Also, please note that DILD and WILD/DEILD are not techniques at all, but descriptions of the how waking consciousness is established in the dream. The only actual technique you have listed is MILD, which is generally used to induce DILD's. Though this is not a popular thing to point out on these forums, it is still the case, so I thought I'd share.]
      11. Varies, with the longest being "chained" through DEILD across REM periods to last several hours.
      12. Varies, just as vividness in NLD's varies. [Please note that lucidity does not equal vividness; you can be powerfully lucid in the dullest of dreams, and not lucid at all in the most vivid of dreams.]
      13. In too many ways that can be listed in a survey, but primarily by elevating your self-awareness, which is an incredibly valuable tool for navigating waking life as well as dreams.
      14. I feel I've probably editorialized a bit too much as it is...

Good luck with your essay, Tina!

How often do you experience sleep paralysis?

I guess I should have said this sooner. I was hoping that info I provided about SP in my PM would be enough. Sadly it was not.

Questions about SP in a Lucid dreaming survey are VERY misleading. I'm starting to have doubts about allowing this survery to be run with questions about SP not changed after my suggestions. Results from this survey WILL BE misleading as well and they will give wrong ideas to everybody, lucid dreamer and someone who never heard of LDing before alike.

SP is one of the biggest misconceptions that we here at Dreamviews fight hard against.

First of all, SP is a condition when we notice REM atonia. REM atonia is when our body paralyzes us AFTER we start dreaming. Normally if someone notices being paralyzed, it is a disorder. It's not suppose to happen and it's not happening normally, when sleeping normally.

Lucid dreamers may notice it, only because of the mind awake - body asleep state. But also only AFTER we start dreaming. By then, nobody really cares if he is paralyzed or not, and nobody really tests if they can move, because by then we have reached our goal, which is being lucid in a dream - having a LUCID DREAM.

Sensations that people mistakenly call SP is NOT SP at all.
      -hard to move
      -tingling
      -heaviness
      -floatiness
      -hallucinations

are all signs of our body falling asleep.

So I'm sorry to say, but your survey will have false results if presented in current form. I will discuss with other staff whether to keep it up or take it down, becasue we don't want to be part of spreading misconceptions about LDing that we fight so hard against. : /

      Hi gab

What I like about Tina's survey is I get to read peoples way of dreaming while asleep but conscious.* Here is a short video from the founder of The Munroe Institute. He was in his 40's when this first happened to him. It made him very frightened and it was preceded by vibrations.

^^ Mr. Monroe may have mentioned SP in his You-tube bit about OBE, but if you go to his site you will see that there is little to no mention of the condition regarding LD'ing. So though he may have mentioned it (just as LaBerge has done), it has not been given the mantle of priority that has emerged on the forums over the years.

This survey is about LD'ing, and not OBE's, which I'm pretty sure Monroe sees as two different things; if Tina had included questions about "SP" in an OBE survey I would have understood that. I would still have disagreed, because I think "SP" in OBE techniques is misunderstood as well, but at least it has always been part of the formula, so the inclusion would have had some validity.

The idea that people have is "SP = easy LD" so even though this is a lie, it catches on because people want easy LDing. That is why those YouTube videos that are like "just listen to this and you will LD" get more attention than Sageous fundamentals or anything similar that actually works 100 times better than a simple shortcut.

So even though rumors of SP will often take people away from LD, it is almost impossible to stop the spread because people don't like putting the work in for anything.

I agree that way too much attention has been given to SP in this survey. From personal experience I can tell you that reading about SP and all the possible terrifying things has done much more damage to my mental state than any actual such experiences.

Last year, from 225 lds, I actually had two occurences of not being able to move for around 30 seconds to a minute maybe after waking up from an ld. I was back in my body and unable to move, that's about it. I was seeing the comfortable darkness behind closed eyelids. No terrible visions, no noises. But then I thought about all these misleading stories of something bad happening and I had a moment of fear. Again, nothing happened and soon after I was able to move and woke up as usual. I felt really stupid that I have allowed all the net folklore stories get to me.

This is what misinformation does to people. It freaks them out and sets for negative expectations. SP is not required to ld, whether it is dild or wild.

Tina, I hope you will help us dispel the SP folklore instead of supporting it. Thanks!

      Come-on DreamViewers! do Tina's Survey

      Tina

If you set-up another survey please put a link to it in this thread so I can find it to read and paticipate. I learn more from reading how individuals say they actually dream.

I'm sad that this one was squashed. Participants need only have put :

      "No" to question 3
      "Nothing" for question 4
      And "Never" for question 5

      3*
Have you ever experienced sleep paralysis?

yes

no

      4*
If yes, please describe one of your sleep paralysis experiences. If no, please*ignore this question.*There is no need to include information you are not comfortable with.*

      5*
How often do you experience sleep paralysis?

every time I lucid dream

most of the times when I lucid dream

sometimes when I lucid dream

seldom

      never

      Gab

You are a very nice person. I liked you long before you were on staff. And I know you are just doing your job. And I think you do a good job here on Dreamviews.

      But

I recon that maybe only 2% about dreams is known. I recon that most of the concepts about dreaming are wrong and we are all laboring under a load of misconceptions about dreaming.

In 300 years folk will look back and think our strongly held notions about dreaming were "quaint".

But way back here in 2014 we cant see it. We probably can feel it but can't see how wrong we are.

      But

Surveys, like Tina's, where folk tell it like they experienced it, may begin to show true patterns, pointing to what is really happening in dreams.

Come on DreamViewers, do thiis survey. Just skip-over questions 3, 4, and 5.

Happened since I can remember. When I believed in Christianity I thought demons were attacking me, and would try to utter for Jesus to save me. Most times it would happen if while lying on my side, my arms were bent up towards my head so I would purposely fall asleep with my arms straight out and hope I wouldn't bend my arms up in my sleep as I need to fall asleep on my side even though I'd usually wake up on my back. I never had visuals during my sleep paralysis. I would just wake from sleep in complete fear because of the Christianity and be completely unable to move and make my breathing match my fear because my diaphragm and everything else that helps me breathe is also paralyzed so I would suck air loudly while trying to spit out for help from my sister mom or Jesus. Then when I broke down all of the programming from society I realized with my beliefs I made the boundaries for negative energy to manifest. So now I no longer fear sleep paralysis, it still happens randomly, but when I awake into sleep paralysis I instantly use it to enter into lucid dreams. I ride the sleep paralysis until the huge waves of vibration go up my body until I'm in a lucid dream. Fear never pops up for me anymore and my keeping calm doesn't lead me into desperately trying to suck in air which what was always what finally woke my body up.

Please describe one of the lucid dreams you had that you remember most. There is no need to include details you’re not comfortable with.

It was a dream where I was lucid and also was having a telepathic dream with someone I know but haven't talked to in years because I'm a fool, she let me know how sad I've made her. I knew during the lucid dream that she wasn't just a dream character mock up of her, and also upon waking. I also had another interesting experience, me and my sister have c-ptsd. So one early morning my loud half sister and loud mom were having a loud conversation and it woke me up but into hypnopompic state so along with their voices I heard my dads deep man voice. (My parents divorced and I haven't seen him in years except the times he shows up screaming at us from our gate and we cower peeping through windows until he leaves.) So I became frightened and very annoyed that not only did they let him in our house, but that they're having normal conversation like nothing happened, so I know I need to warn my sister and ask her if she hears what I hear, but in this state of awake but also asleep I can't get up if he's out there and I sleep with my door locked so he can't get in, so I without thinking it's undo-able I decide to telepathically communicate to my sister who's asleep in the room next to mine. I close my eyes and tell her somethings wrong and ask her if she hears what I hear? Then I immediately fall back into sleep but I think into a lucid dream that I couldn't remember upon waking. So later in the morning when I woke up fully I realized more fully what I did earlier, and waited for my sister to wake up to ask her if she experienced me communicating to her last night. When she woke up, she wanted to tell me about her dream she had, so I let her and I was gonna tell her about the telepathic thing after. She told me that she was having a nice dream until suddenly it was shot into a dream where we were in our old childhood bedroom sitting indian style across from each other. We both looked up at the same time, making perfect eye contact and we knew that something was wrong and that the door had to be locked. She jumped up and locked the door immediately. After it was locked we both heard our dad storming around and we made eye contact again because we knew he was coming and we knew locking the door was the right thing to do.
So my paranoid hypnopompic hallucination made me communicate telepathically to my sis while she herself was dreaming, which threw her into a nightmare on the topic I was communicating to her about I'm thinking....

Help people break down programming of their minds they've been bombarded with since the day they were born. Comfort from within, and the beginnings of realizing all your truth is from within instead of external.

I was in a lucid dream and I was fighting the dream so i wouldn't wake up. I ended up softly waking up and stuck in SP. I did not know what it was at the time but I was just laying in bed and tried to get back in the lucid. Once I gave up I found i could not move and freaked out. I thought my arms where numb at first but eventually I ended up escaping it.

One of my first ones, learning to fly. I never really had a problem with flying but for some reason in this dream I was. I just saw a comic on fantastic four in a store so in the dream when I became lucid I was the human torch. Basically I jumped and just started to fly I remember looking down at an aerial view of the park and was looking at the street lights illuminating the park at night. As I was flying I suddenly got really heavy and started to fall back to earth. I ended up hitting the ground and just got back up and started flying than falling multiple times till I woke up.

Well, if by sleep paralysis you mean sensations we get during WILD Technique usage aswell then here we go:
I rarely get any sensations during Sleep Paralysis/Rem Atonia yet if i get them they tend to be quit awesome. I might get blurry images of scenes, non existing sounds, vibrations and shaking as if world was falling apart (Vibrations n' this happend usually right before i dived into a dream world).

Lucid Dream moments ago destabilized and i found myself in my bed. I decide to keep eyes shut and not move few seconds after that strong vibrations occur and i've entered a dream world again. This time i'm in school. Yeah it's on second floor and there's group of students with me. We are waiting probably for English/Religion class yet since i know it's a dream i decide to alter things like i always. I saw doors of the english class and decided to use them as a portal to my choosen target (LOST Series Island Bunker). I tell myself that behind those doors there is bunker from lost series. Then i go near them and with intention of bunker being behind them i open them. And bam what i see there is a LOST Series bunker. I'm going through doors of class into it and guess what? Students are going after me too. I've entered the bunker and when i look around it seems to be different than in lost series more like empty place with old walls. I'm starting to wander around place and look, funny thing the Dream Characters are doing so aswell. I can notice that it is no merly empty room there are corridors aswell at end of it. Going through corridor i find myself in familiar location. A rope perhaps and above it hole. It is an entrance/exit to the bunker and below it there is computer on a table. Just like in LOST Series. Dream Characters keep wandering i belive and i'm looking at the familiar scenery. Yet suddenly i see a black smoke coming out of entrance in the concrete. I haven't though of that yet my subconsciousness did. A Smoke Monster from LOST Series. I give her that, yeah, it was clever yet spooky idea. The smoke monster comes out of entrance and starts attacking people. He goes first for students. Heh knowing that it's dream i used that chance and decided to run away while he's taking other students. And well WHAT? He began to chase me after he took few students down. I turn back to see him chasing me and i'm running fast. This part of my memories is kinda blurry yet i remember that i found a door and entered through them. I suddenly find myself back in school. Those were glass doors, i close them and turn back to look at them from the safe distance. Smoke Monster stands behind them. I'm thinking like 'Hopefully he's not able to open the doors'. Moments later HE'S OPENING THEM. before he finishes opening the doors i decide to wake myself up from this dream. Thankfully it did succeed. And here i am, again in the emptynes, blackness and void. Between two universes. One is a dream and one is a reality. If i'il decide to not move i'il be probably able to return in dream again yet if i'il move i'il be back in reality. Which is it i wonder? Yet as scary as runaway from smokey was i decide to go back into my real world.

      - The End

I tend to have from time to time natural lucid dreams perhaps
And sometimes due to usage of techniques?

I belive it can be helpful to those who'd like to practice something first in their virtual reality rather in dream world. I can say that people who are shy could gain alot from them and people who have fears could overcome them. Aswell as training practice and doing things that you'd never do in real world due to few reasons
I'm not talking about insane/crazy/impossible things, those are fun too yet i'm talking about things that you cant due to current situation. For example: I have not so pretty voice at singing yet once ago in dream i had woman voice and sang quite prettily kinda fun
