Never experienced this. I believe it's just a manifestation of the childhood fears of the dark. Not sure why it happens especially during SP. |

If you don't, hm well have a nice day anyway ^_^
This concept reminded me of a video by Vsauce which might hopefully give some insight on this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PEikGKDVsCc |

In his first lucid dream, I ran into a man-shadow. At first, it looked like my friend, but then turned into a three-dimensional shadow. I grabbed the shade and the sun burned. |

Hello Eclectic |

Hello I think I saw a shadow person once when I was around 10 years old. It seemed docile, and I haven't run into one since despite being curious about them. How would I go about purposely seeing or even communicate with one? |
|
I often see glare and reflections on surfaces in dreams, and sometimes even look closely at them (because they seem particularly amazing, but fail to become lucid) however I almost never see any shadows (a dream sign) nor do I generally see light sources (another dream sign, especially a lack of the sun, tho I did see it once in a dream). So sometimes I try to do reality checks in real life in bright sun light by holding up five fingers but looking at the shadow and counting the shadows fingers and then bending the fingers as I watch the shadow. |

Sure LUCID DREAMS are all fun and games until someone loses a third eye.
