Hi. I'm new to the forums and I have recently tried putting on just static while I sleep. I have mentioned this somewhere else in the forums but I wanted to make and experiment out of it.
Everyone who wishes to participate can. All you have to do is tune your radio to plain static before you sleep, and leave it on all night long. Post your results here. Pretty easy hu?
Personal results: Did not wake up throughout the night. (hardly ever happens)
Woke up in the same position as when I fell asleep.
Remembered my dream. (has not happened in years)
Overall, I just got a better nights sleep, and remembered my dream for the first time in years. ( It got kinda old not being able to remember my dreams)
side note:I am 16 years old and share a room with my 14 year old brother and we both had the same results.
remember to post, post, post! :)

Sounds like you have come across a nice sleep aid, that isn'y going to turn you into a druggie. Good job!
I personally sleep better without noise. I had an aquarium in my room for years, and the first night that we moved it down the hall, I slpet like a baby. I also sleep better without my fan on, but my mom keeps the thermostat inside of a lock box on the wall, so it's either sleep with the fan, or sweat. But I can't sleep with noise, or without either...It's very weird.

It's understandable you slept better.
My computer is on 24/7 so I go to sleep to the low humming/droning of my computer fans.
I actually prefer it that way because when it's dead silent I tend to suffer very loud tinnitus at times.

I can sleep with or without noise. I never really noticed a difference, just sometimes if I can't fall asleep I'll turn the TV on low.

White noise has a relaxing effect on you I think. i am in for the experiment and will be trying this soon. I'll report back how it goes.
