Dream sign experiment [participants needed]

Hello and welcome to my Dream Sign Experiment. My hypothesis is that preforming reality checks inspired by the very reason we dream, could prove highly effective. Please note that if this works I'm going to create a tutorial based upon it. Please do not go around making posts claiming that you came up with this idea. Unless of course you did then I'm sorry for sounding like a jerk.
Sign up: Im going to run this experiment for two weeks starting on June 14th and ending June 27th. Anyone who keeps a dream journal or is willing to start one is welcome to participate and will be credited in the proposed tutorial. Be prepared to post your results. Within a week of the end of the tests if possible. Also note that you are not required or asked to post your DJ entries.
The Theory: If dreams are a necessary part of life then there must be a reason for them right? Some theory's say that dreaming is used to train for worst case scenarios, or other life experiences. Certain areas of your brain fire more often when you sleep. One is the area of your brain that controls your fight or flight response to situations. If you were to reality check at the correct time when this part of your brain is being fired the results could be incredible.
Procedure: Starting with week one of the experiment do not change anything related to your DILD process. At the end of this week record how many DILDs you had.
For week two. Reality check when ever you are put into a stressful situation. Or when you are engaging in heavy motor activity like running or swimming. If this theory of why we dream holds true then reality checking during the core reason of dreaming should work well. At the end of this week record how many DILDs you had.
