Something will happen, wether it's real or false flag. The government with all their cover ups, I'm tired of em xD
It's a light hearted TV series. You seriously need to take some meds if you think this proves an impending alien invasion.
But I doubt you'll buy that, so feel free to place a bet with me. How would you like to win $100? You seem pretty sure about this so I'll expect good odds. You too, Crashy and Zhaylin.
Well fuck, anonymous MSNBC correspondent, compared to the stock market swinging 5% a day all week long, I'm practically expecting an alien invasion.
I don't know what to expect lol I just think it's very interesting (and entertaining :))
The media wants to keep people distracted and consuming... what better novelty than aliens.
The government wants to keep people in fear to justify its expanding power. Ever notice how militias and terrorists show up just when the government needs an excuse to trample liberty? Aliens are also a pretty good excuse for more bloated bureaucracy.
As far as I'm concerned, if there is an alien race that has figured out how to traverse the galaxy and is superior to us in terms of social evolution and technology, I have no problem letting them have the planet. Chances are they'll treat it better than we do.
The sudden media fascination with aliens is only interesting insofar as it is evidence that people are being manipulated into distraction.
Or then again maybe a bunch of spritely young chaps pitched a neat idea they'd had for a fun though potentially interesting documentary, and the TV execs thought it'd be cool and gave them the green light.
I admit, it's ridiculously unlikely compared to your 'the NWO did it' theory, but you never know.
National Geographic is airing the series Curiosity:"Alien Invasion: Are we ready?". Saying: "The US government has a plan in the event of a real alien invasion. Astrophysicists, weapon designers, military strategists, biologists and anthropologists reveal how they’re gearing up to fight back."
This is another indication the media has been preping the public for something. This goes together withh all the other indications. Remember not only is there documentaries on this, which have been steadily increasing, but it's also now frequently in the news. Statements such as "New science is suggesting that aliens may be very real" in the media portrays some agenda to prepare for something. Mostly every country has released tones of ufo documents previously classified. This is a planned public release. And all this has been gradual over the years but it only seems to be intensifying. It now seems the whole world is just about ready for "something". Even the Nasa website has a page dedicated to de-classification as well as astronauts admitting we are not alone (together with randomly leaked nasa videos and images) . Numerous videos and information have also been randomly leaked throughout the internet over the years. The CIA also has documents released. All this goes together with Steven Greers campaign, which mainly started in 2001 with "the disclosure project". A new film called "Sirius" is been released this year which is to document things never before released. Mayan artifacts have also been revealed this year which are very stiking of an alien presence. FBI files have also been released on information of UFOs.
The skeptics dictionary has taken a new twist on the subject but embarassingly does not include any of this rapidly emerging information mentioned above. It states
"No advancement has come from UFOs" rather than saying "UFOs are a delusion". They also state an argument against them being spacecraft. Or against the government or CIA lieing about it. Depiste the fact the governments, Cia, Nasa, and other organizations now have publically released information which proves they covered it up and which proves they are spacecraft and even evidence of alien bodies and other physical evidence. Which makes for a very weak argument from the skeptics dictionary. I would argue that the skeptics dictionary is now severely out of date. And I would also predict that something is going to happen in the future.

Xei it doesn't really have a lighthearted tone at all. LOL.
The media is frequently reporting on new discoveries which increase the chances of alien life because there are new discoveries increasing the chances of alien life, you doofus. Why are you surprised at an increase in interest in aliens when in the last few years science has for the first time started discovering planets outside our solar system?
Why did you ignore the opportunity to make $100? Come on, are you going to put your money where your mouth is or not?
What's the 100 dollar bet for?
Here's the most recent media report on it just to irritate you.

There is a chance that we may be able to include in the film “Sirius” the scientific testing of a possible Extraterrestrial Biological Entity (EBE) that has been recovered and is deceased. This EBE is in the possession of a cooperative institute desiring further scientific evaluation of the possible ET. We cannot reveal at this time the location of this being or the name of the person or persons who possess it.
So this scientific evaluation of a deceased alien on film is going to be made soon. Thats to be in one of the upcoming films.
I may have misunderstood your post, I hope you are not being dishonest enough to claim I ever posited the existence of some kind of organized NWO. Perhaps you weren't referring to my post at all, but then I am not sure where the 'NWO' theory comment is coming from.
Of course the interest in aliens likely started from a couple execs who want to keep the masses entertained. However, the ongoing fear based speculations about alien invasion scenarios and "UFO" sightings are not the same as scientific research into the possible existence of ET's. These sort of sensational images are encouraged by people with vested interests in keeping people distracted, if only to make a buck, no organized, shadowy conspiracy needed.
This came out in 2007.

Okay, it's clear that despite believing you have proof you're not actually going to stake any money on some kind of alien conflict (staged or otherwise), so I guess it's time to move this to Inner Sanctum.
The Scientific Method according to Xei
Step 1: Ask Question
Step 2: Figure out how much money you're willing to bet on the answer you want
Step 3: Perform experiment
Etc.
The irony of it is though by the time they stage something or something happens. Money may not be relevant or different for the bet to be completed. The monetary system is on the edge of destruction as it is. There might also be some kind of chip introduced instead of money. Things could change dramatically from here.
I will bet you though something more relevant. If in the next 5 years there is no significant event that leads to definite disclosure on the alien presence. I will post 500 links on the internet to different sites, on a subject of a thing you want to promote. If however you lose that bet. You must spread information to 500 links of a subject and blog of my choice.
But I don't have anything I want to promote. :/
Here's a simpler version: solid currency with an equivalent value to 100 US dollars on Monday the 6th of August 2012. ;)
Also 'disclosure on the alien presence' is vague, I wouldn't bet on science not discovering alien life in that time frame; in fact in just an hour's time a probe is landing on Mars to search for microbial life. How about 'a military event involving aliens with global political ramifications'. That's what you're talking about, right?
I don't actually agree with this post, I just love the fact that it exists.
I'll tell you what, the time is a little too long for me to remember. How about this, if aliens or transdimensional beings or whatever come visit us by the end of 2012, I'll do 100 links. How's that sound?
Sounds fair...
I haven't read everyone's posts in this thread so forgive me if I reiterate...
Extraterrestrials exist. Given how young the human race is and how far we've come technologically, it is safe to assume that older races exist and they have technology superior to ours. Scientists have been discovering interesting things regarding life. For instance, they discovered an organism that lives and thrives in arsenic, which is poisonous to just about everything else living. Another example is an organism that was found frozen in a lake in Alaska. They said this specimen was 32,000 years old, but that's not the best part. When they defrosted it, it became alive. Just as if nothing had happened to it. This is the first time anything like this has ever been witnessed.
The same man who found that organism also has been deep in research on some rare meteorites that have the potential to prove life can exist elsewhere in the universe. He found bacteria basically on this meteorite, along with dozens of amino acids, which are the building blocks of life. Another interesting tidbit is that he claims the bacteria from the meteorite resembles a bacteria that we have here on earth...
This makes sense for one reason. Given that it is so difficult to find a planet capable of sustaining intelligent life, or so it seems, littering the cosmos with the building blocks of life ensures that life will exist where it can. Or it will wait until the planet is ready, surviving in extreme conditions until it can evolve.
The reason that they don't just land and say hi is because they have been watching us, they know the majority of people will react in a stupid, impulsive manner. They have been around for a long, long time. Our inability to play nice with others is the reason. If you all look deep enough into the subject, you will find that not once has a suspected UFO ever shot down another plane, or fire a weapon at anyone. They always either outmaneuver our planes, or disable our weapons. These are signs of a mature race. They obviously have far superior tech and could crush us whenever they please, but life is precious. Especially complex life. Unfortunately complex life has its drawbacks... Like war, paranoia, distrust...
When we are ready to show good hospitality and can demonstrate a use of our technology that shows we care about more than just ourselves, then they make contact with humanity as a whole.
Well they have visited already but you mean in public or in mass where everyone witnesses a significant event or breakthrough. I'll cut it to 2016 final offer. In regards to 100 links. You may not have to wait that long could happen sooner rather than later.
ready to lose?

Its a battle between extroversion and introversion. "We are facing an attack from outside this world". Outside what world? The physical, extroverted world. An attack from the internal, invisible world. Its the knee-jerk reaction of fear opposing the spiritual awakening that has been happening for the past 150 years...We are finally learning how to look within...
All this business about aliens, terrorists, axis of evil is just another way to externalize internal fears...projection
