what do you think of orgone energy?

Orgone energy was found out by a man named Willhelm Reich. He invented this box that harnesses this energy and he cured people with mental illnesses with it. All people had to do was sit in the box and the energy gets absorbed by the person in it and after a few sessions they get cured. The FDA found out about it and they took him to jail. His sentence was two years. Just a few days before his release he conveniently died of a 'heart attack'. Not trying to go conspiracy on you but its too convient for a man to have discovered something that can potentially be extremely useful to just die a few days before he is released.

Now do you think Mr.Reich was really on to something with this orgone energy and the government wrongfully accused him? Or do you think this whole orgone energy thing a scam?

I'll tell you the FDA was wrong when you can point me to trustworthy independent research demonstrating the legitimacy of his claims; it's pretty much as simple as that.

Ok after doing some searching around it seems that Orgone energy is just another word for Scalar energy. Knowing this, I don't believe that scalar energy has been 100% proven yet by science. The closest thing I can think of right now are those scalar energy pendants that produce negative ions. Negative ions though have been proven by science and they DO have positive effects on the human body. These negative ions are highly concentrated in natural areas such as a waterfall or forest where nature prevails. Though I can't find a good link that proves Orgone/Scalar energy exist here is one about Negative Ions. Perhaps this orgone energy accumulator was a negative ion generator and you sit in and let your body absorb the negative ions and thus improve your health. Heres an article about negative ions.

Meh, he might have been onto something, but are we REALLY going to be able to do more than speculation about this? I mean, if he was, then any evidence would have been destroyed long ago. And if he wasn't, then...why talk about it?

60-year-olds with heart attacks? Looks like a conspiracy to me.

Thats what I think too. It just seems to convenient that a guy who could've potentially have discovered something useful is sent to prison then dies just a few days before his release. Sounds very fishy to me

yeah but no.

It's not a huge risk for the typical 60-year old, but people regularly have heart attacks much younger than that. Regularly enough, at least, that a 60-year-old dying of a heart attack is not unusual enough to raise suspicion of its own virtue. Consider, if some clandestine group within the FDA (or some other concerned agency) was going to kill him, why would they bother pressing charges to result in a 2-year jail sentence?

I think he was sarcastic. I don't know if he could really do what he said he could, but if he got arrested it was probably for a different reason.

Yeah. Looking back on it now he was probably sarcastic. As for why he was arrested, we shall never know. If he was on to something then it would negatively impact the medical industry because now they wouldn't make a profit so in a way they could've killed him to prevent that. Or it could just be that this man was full of crap and he was making false claims and got arrested.

Oh well. We'll never know for sure now.
