people are funking stupid. i just got out of a discussion with this dude... i proposed the theorhetical question of what happens when all of the world moves out of agricultural development and into industrial... just a proposed question that threw him into an argument about the creation of man. ??? TWAT ??? grrrr. then the kid continued to talk down to me as if i knew nothing about world economics. he wouldn't shut up about chinese labor... deverting the question, the proposition, the theorhetical question... all he had to do was say that he either didn't know, didn't want to know, or didn't want to answer... BL:AH.

Heh, kind of like a lot of the discussions that go on around here...though usually somebody inserts a funny image at some point.

I feel your pain. I just said in passing one time that I agreed with the decision to keep religeon out of school. What ensued was a 15 minute lecture by someone telling things I already knew about the founding fathers and such.

Gah, sometimes it is just better to not voice an opinion.

      HAHAHAHA

YAY push button for instant banter!!!

//yeah I know what you mean adidas. I get into those kinds of arguments (not even good enough to deem worthy of being called "arguments") with my mom ALL the time. It's like, when she doesn't have anything good to add to the debate, she picks something maybe somewhat related, and uses that against my arguement. So in essence we're arguing, but about 2 eintirely different things:

me: I just don't agree with tsunami relief funds being used more for tourists. I mean, what about the locals, they lost alot too!

mom: (what is she talking about? ok, quick, gotta look smart, I'M the mom!) But the apples that grow there are GREEN!

me: True, but I was talking about the relief funds.

mom: True, but that doesn't make the apples any less green.

me: I'm not debating their greeness. I wanted your opinion about the allocation of relief fu-

mom, interrupting: Why do you always have to put up defences when we debate issues?! Stop invalidating my point etc.

      me:

      mom: (YES! I won. )
