No, seriously. There's a half-eaten snickers bar sitting right beside my laptop and it's stinking up the whole goddamn room. >:C

It's not mine. Am I supposed to eat it or what?

smelling herself, then the room, puffin sensed a poignant sharp sweet scent. sniffing, puffin said aloud, "it smells like... snickers."
at that exact moment, she panicked. her past experienced with the substance ranged farther than anything she'd ever felt. or smelled.
puffin had been hated by, loved, caressed, and at one point, harmed by it. she shuddered at the thought, but never took her eyes off it.
a minute passed, and she realized she hadn't blinked. she'd been staring at the candy without closing her eyes, and wiped her eyes when she realized it.
clearing her mind, she remembered. the candy had called out to her. it wanted her, and she wanted it. they both knew it, and even though puffin saw it had been opened before -even eaten from,- she took it in her hand.
she was aware the smell would not leave her hand for days. even as she snatched it up, she was at the same time tender, affectionate, and loving.
pausing for affect, she left it a centimeter from her lips, holding her breath. none in the room moved. after the longest half-second of her life, she bit into it, and fell into a trance of joie de vivre.
