Thread: Okay, who likes games?

i have a lot of games but i dont feel like listing them. I have been playing MOH rising sun and counter-strike.

I'm always playing Neverwinter Nights/NWN: Shadows of Undrentide/NWN: Hordes of the Underdark (fucking awesome campaign). I'm currently playing Postal 2. I don't have any consoles with me at the moment (my ex and I have joint custody of the Gamecube) but if I did, I would most certainly be abusing the Biohazard/Resident Evil (remake), Ocarina of Time, and Super Smash Bros Melee. Hmm... He has an Xbox now. I think it's my turn to have the Gamecube.

I've also been dying to play Marvel vs. Capcom 2, but no one around here has it anymore (stupid ex got rid of the PS2... argh! Could have gotten rid of it to me!).

warcraft III, starcraft...well any game made by blizzard...i have tons of console games but im more of a computer gamer...i used to play NwN, and i still would if it werent for the fact that my friend broke my CD, and ive been too lazy to go out and buy another

Did you kick him? Hordes of the Underdark is so much better than the OC. Partly because you get Deekin and Valen, two of the most interesting henchmen ever, and partly because it's designed for the epic levels (20+). I believe you can go up to 40, but since I'm multiclassing my level cap is probably 30. Still, with my two henchmen I'm almost sure that I could take on Bahamut and win at this point. Then again, I am mostly magic and the King of All Good Dragons has a stupid high resistance to magic.

I should make a Bahamaut in the Toolset using his stats from Deities and Demigods and pit him against my PC just to test my skills. Bwahahaha.

Edit: WerBurN, you should get back into NWN so I can send you my module and you can see what I've built of my world. You need the expansions to play it though.

Lets see... I spend 10 hours a day playing games. I play:

Warcraft 3
Neverwinter nights
Diablo 2/xp
Star Wars Galaxies

Any other game I play for a couple of days then move on. These ones I can play for 10 hours strait and still want more. Getting a little bored with NWN... Starting to get bored with diablo 2. Warcraft 3 is always fun though. So many mini games to play. And star wars galaxies can never be boring till I am a jedi master which if ever did happen would not for many months.

Crucible, do you have the NWN expansions? I can't say enough about Hordes. Shadows of Undrentide wasn't bad, either, and you really should play that before diving into Hordes (HotU expects that you bring your character from SoU). Both expansions add a lot to the toolset, too, if you're into building your own modules and stuff.

A lot of you guys play NWN. We should all get together for a RP session sometime.

The only mod I really like was legends of deathlands. The rest I thought were okay. Most were just grind fests. I have not played the new expansion. I actually still need to play single player. One of these days...

I found the original NWN campaign to be very kind of scary at the start. After the first chapter though, it got better. (the 2nd chapter annoyed me to hell. I played every single misson there, still not getting enough 'sources of information', until I found out the object required was a tiny little bag on the ground about 2 steps away from where I was.)

i love RPGs too, its just that they arent really a challenge...i can usually pick up and beat an RPG same day, cause they've gotten way too easy nowadays...thats why i have to play internet games, vs. other people things can remain interesting...and ive been thinking about getting into a new game recently, i think i will go out and buy NwN:HoU

oh btw, my favorite games of all time: Final Fantasy Tactics and Disgaea...both are truely magnificent works of art, tho you hafta be into the whole strategy thing

The only thing that keeps me sane is the constant grinding of xp in rpgs. No matter what the game is I am almost always grinding xp.

Oh yeah, I do play on bnet. Either east or west depending on the time of day. And I only play custom games. So speaking of which... I am going to go play.

you're a custom game whore? ewwww....lol j/k with ya, i like to play customs occasionally too...it would get boring if i only played melees and whatnot....o

on the subject of NwN:HoU, i went out and bought it today...running thru the origional campaign right now...but uhh, jus curious, what race/class are ya'll that play NwN? ...and i mean with your primary char you play most...


...and ya i know, im a powergamer when it comes to RPGs too...one time i started a new game of FFT, and got to level 97 on my main after the first area that you can fight monsters became available...as in before the second plot point lol... fun times...but if you like to uber-level, pick up Disgaea...max level is 9999, and theres this thing called transmigrating that basically lets you retain a portion of your power, and return to level 1...that way you can basically level up however much you want...currently my friend is only level 1000 or so after playing over 100 hours, so its not like the curve is easier than other games either hehehe

Ellifayne Willows (18 druid/17 fighter). I have Enserric the Longsword as my primary weapon (upgraded to +8, OnHit: Strength loss, Vorpal) and a composite longbow called the North Wind Bow (upgraded to +8, InfiniteArrow: Ice, Mighty +5) as my secondary/missile weapon. Try and get Enserric if you can, even if you give him to a henchie because he's just friggin hilarious to listen to.

I'm debating going through again with Elli as another class. I was thinking Arcane Archer, but I'm not so sure that suits her. The closest thing I could come to was the druid/fighter combo. I'm still not sure though. She's a weird character to classify.
