Are you trying to use HTML? If so, it won't work. If using BBC code, make sure the code is right and the URLs are correct and you have a place that will allow photo sharing like www.photobucket.com or www.villagephotos.com
There are rules when it applies to avatars/sigs, but for mainstream pics, just look at the posting rules.
