Ha.
One of the worst things ever, for me at least, is when my math teacher hands back my test with a "tsk tsk" look on her face... =.="
Heartbreak.

when you think you do good on a test and you get like a 15/37
but then you get like 45/47 on the other test and your like
FUCK YEAH
Those few minutes you go through right before you have to throw up. That feeling you get when you watch someone fall on the pavement really hard. And that feeling you get from nails across a chalk board and whatnot.
i dont mind the sound of nails on a chalkboard, but i hate when my nails are scratching the chalkboard
When you say something so stupid that you remember it a year later and think "oh my god I'm so stupid."
Did I kill this thread?
yes
Here's one: someone waves to you or says something like "hi!" and you respond with "oh, hey!" only to realize they were talking to someone behind you... Then it gets all awkward.
My gosh. I thought I was the only one! I felt like an idiot when I screwed up in SECOND GRADE, and I still feel awkward whenever I think about it, which is oddly often....
That feel when you turn in an assignment late because you had no other choice, and the teacher still gives the disapproving speech.
That feel when you do a speech to a 'dead' audience about lucid dreaming, but you had to throw in a prop last minute. (everyone was there for humor and satire, not public speaking. Plus, it was too much too fast.) I'm going against my better judgement and doing it again today. Luckily, it will be an audience that is active and I know will accept something like this.
It went great! The class was engaged, genuinely seemed interested, and wanted to learn more. I directed them here to get started, because I think this is the best resource anywhere on the internet about LD's.
