      Quoting me in sigs

      Because there seems to be a rash of quoting me in sigs lately, I just want to make the ground rules clear. Anyone is welcome to quote me in their sig. Obviously, it's good manners to ask first or at least mention what you're doing, but good manners aren't exactly the status quo on the internet, so I'll give it a pass.

      Just understand, quoting me in your sig constitutes a tacit agreement to:
      1. vow complete obedience to me
      2. worship me as a hero equal to or greater than any deity or deities to which you may subscribe
      3. acknowledge my position as correct in all past, present and future discussions


      I don't expect anyone to object to these terms and conditions, and we can assume they apply to most members of the forum (and humanity) regardless of whether they make it official by quoting me, but I want to make sure we're all reading from the same Bible here--that being the one composed of my collected writings and utterances.

      It should go without saying that misquotes may be grounds for the Beast with the Seven Inward-Turning Faces to rise from the Darkness Betwixt and flay the offender's astral form to the brink of discorporation. If you're into that, I don't judge, but it's something I would avoid.
