I was expecting a "you shouldn't leave because you are really close to a dream" but I suppose that is valid as well.

On a more serious note: Don't exit SP because you're likely to be close to a lucid dream... As DinoSawr pointed out.
If you really must try and break SP though, don't fight against it as you'll fail and just get more anxious and worked up. Just alter your breathing pattern, which you still have full control of, i.e. take deep and rapid breaths for a few seconds - SP will break almost immediately..

I never try to exit sleep paralysis. That's the only time she talks to me.
All that work just to get into SP and he wants to get out? That's crazy. :O
