Sveti Stefan and the coast of Montenegro. I just returned from a 4 month working vacation in the Balkans and the coast of Croatia and Montenegro. Late March, slightly rainy day we walked the beaches of Budva and Villa Milocer. The azure blue Adriatic Sea, the slightly pink colored pebble beaches with the mountain forests right down to the water was unbelievable. My 15 year old son asked if this is what Heaven is like. I will go back ASAP.
Russia, Moscow & St Petersburg !!! The cultural and experience WOW of it.. & also... to extents... to go to where is still for most is 'forbidden land'
... To feel the hairs on the back of my neck stand up when I'm stood on Red Square saying 'Im ACTUALLY looking at the Kremlin'
... Likewise the 'buzz' of standing by the side of a canal is St Petersburg, looking along the canal, at the Church of Spilt Blood, and looking at Faberge eggs in the Hermitage
... To soak in the truly 'foreign' non western culture etc etc...
... Oh yes Vodka & the famous all night clubs in St Petersburg as well
