Three months ago I made this observation and posted it on my message wall in my profile:

Just now, I thought I'd check that old locked thread again. It has gone up to 31,376 views in the last 97 days.

31,376/450 5/11/12 (today)

1732 from 1-Aug-2012 till 5-11-12

Aug has 31 days
Sept has 30 days
Oct has 31 days
Today is Nov 5

1732 / 97 days = 17.8 views a day.

That thread you mentioned strayed way off-topic...a fact I'm sure you are well-aware of. The posts related to attaining lucidity faded out and were replaced by banter, a good indicator the useful life of a tread has ended.

Still, the beginning of the thread is useful. Probably why it still gets many views.

You can always start a new on-topic thread. ;)

I'd guess it's just showing up in a lot of google searches or something?

Wow!!! How many Lurker's or even Members this CLOSED thread has brought to Dream Views.

It was locked on 27-March-2011.

The last time I looked at it was on 5-November-2012, last year. It had 31, 376 views. I just went trolling through the pages to find it again. It is now on page 48 (19 threads down) and it now has 37, 701 views.

WoW (!!!) 6, 325 more views in 12 months.

Divided by 52 is 121 views a week

Or

Divided by 366 days is 17 views a day

If Sefalik is right then this wonderful thread has brought a lot of traffic to Dream Views.
