As for the issue of the "EFF word" here, well, I don't think swearing is bad, but as much as I'm also all for desensitization, I agree that using it too much makes you sound like a twelve year-old and a jerk.

Speaking of which, I also think that throwing the word "gay" -- or "fag" or other such words -- around as some sort of insult also makes one sound quite infantile.
