Government votes unanimously on addition of new consonant to the English language.

Earlier today it was voted that the Greek symbol theta (θ) be inducted into the English language. So as to not confuse the letter between O and 0, it's been said that the new letter will be written with an underline (or italics in type).

Theta has been given the pronunciation of a rolling R mixed with the letter T. For more information on pronunciation and the bill itself, including typing instructions and a list of changed words, see the enclosed video:

That is good because trigonometry students will become familiar with Theta and stop whining about having to use it instead of the familiar letters.
