Whoa : D I love it, thank you.
Now Frank's actions make sense. It could be exactly the way you say it is.

Now that is very very cool. A very tough act to follow.
You be the novelist and I will try my hand at comic writer.
Debrah Saves a Roo by Grasping Frank's Work
She had been out walking by the water and got a bit too much Austrailian sun, so it was nap time. Debrah focused on asking her dream self to explain 'half gravity.' She was warm and comfy and started to hear children's voices in her half sleep.
Suddenly a voice was calling to her. Who would be in her flat? She jumped up and looked around. It was Buck the mouse in his awesome white fur and a top hat.
"Buck, when did you get a top hat? It looks so cute."
"Debrah," purrs buck, "stay focused! One of our friends is in trouble and only you can help."
Debrah is amazed, "Buck why are you purring, you are a mouse. You should be squeeking."
Buck squeeks, "Don't be silly, I was squeeking. Now focus on the task at hand." He reaches out his VISIBLE/INVISIBLE paw and places it on Debrah's INVISIBLE/VISIBLE head. This was very weird as Buck was only 2" tall and still in his cage. "Look down at your feet/ground/gravity."
"What?"
"Look down."
Debrah looked down and visible space became invisible and she exprienced half inertia (or a wobbly wooh feeling, which ever). Her feet turned into lizards, which ran away. She was standing (oh her feet came back) on the outside of a wall to a garden. How did she know it was that? Well from the sign. It read "THIS/HERE is the FUNDIMENTAL TRUTH, it is/can be very importantly a garden inside/behind THIS/WALL. Go spread the word!!! By Author Frank DiMeglio"
A tiny knot hole allowed her to see inside and she saw a sad kangeroo. She knew it was sad because it was pouting.
"How do I get in there Buck?" Debrah asked. Being a very compassionate woman she wanted to help. Buck was no where around, but she did see a red panda in a tree near by. "Hello mister, ummm what are you?"
"My name is Occipitalred and I am an avatar." It smiled as if it had made a joke. "You can not get through there until you learn about full inertia"
"Great, can you teach me?"
"No, I am sorry, but I have tried to understand and can never get it. Your best bet is to find Frank and see if you can get it" said the odd critter. "He is almost always over there on that hill top yelling about it. If he is not there ask the crickets. They hear it all the time."
Far up on a hill top she sees a man dressed as a lion tamer, but wearing a lab coat. He yells all the stuff she heard on DreamViews but can not get it. He looks excited and asks "you see it now don't you? It is fundamental, it is clear and it is very important."
Debrah does not want to be rude so she says, "um yeah, of course. You should win the noble prize or something."
"Yes, yes, that is it! I told them so, but those assorted clowns at Dream Views mocked me." He jumps up and down.
"I would never do that, but I actually need help getting in the garden over there. " She has a head ache now from trying to grasp what he was saying.
"I am far too busy teaching my knowledge to these crickets. They just can not get it! They are clearly not brilliant like you." He starts talking about full gravity again.
Debrah gets a clever idea, "Wait Frank listen. It is just that there is a kangaroo in there who desperately wants to know the exciting new science that unifies physics, but he can not hear you from over there."
"Oh! Why didn't you say that! This is truely fundamental and important information, let's go." He threw his hands up and yelled "stuff" and they were transported inside the garden.
There sat the little roo pouting. It said "please help me. I do not understand how to hop and I can't get over the garden wall. All my friends laugh and say 'just do it, it takes no knowledge,' but how can I hop if I do not understand why I can hop?"
Frank had to repeat himself a dozen times about full vs half gravity and all the types of inertia, but eventually both the roo and Debrah finally truely understood half-gravity. Not only could the kangaroo hop, but now they could both fly. They took off up into the air and she called out, "Frankie Baby, come and fly with us!"
Frank responded, "I can't yet. I do not think these daisy understand me, yet. This is very important and fundamental information and blah blah blah............"
Debrah woke up only to realize that what she had thought was Frank's voice was actually the sound of a dripping faucet. At least now she understood all of Frank's stuff. It was simple, it involved, ummm, ducks or something? Darn it, actually the dripping faucet made more sense.
I feel like we are finally getting somewhere. I'm actually starting to understand. Ok, I'm not. But it's still fun. Please keep 'em coming.
Ah, Sivason, you made me laugh so much! :D
The whole thing was just perfect!
Also, to get a good picture of what Dimeglio looked like I searched Lion Tamer on the internet and the first picture that caught my attention was this one:
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...pga.03749).jpg
So that's how I imagined him, plus the lab coat. And I think Dimeglio actually looks like this.
That picture fits perfectly!
By Lord Helix's tentacles, this is getting better and better! I'm laughing so hard and...!
Wait, making a story around meaningless, repetitive patterns in order to make some sense of them... isn't that... uhm... (googling) yeah, isn't that apophenia?
If you let yourselves being carried away by how your subconscious tries to makes sense of senseless things (like, when we subconsciously see an emotion in two dots and a parenthesis instead of seeng what it really is), you are not being as scientific and rational as this fundamentally important thread demands. So be careful, guys.
The dress is white and gold.
Ok Everyone, I have copied the fictional stuff and related comments to "Artist's Corner" because it really needs its own thread as fictional works.
Here is the link,
http://www.dreamviews.com/artists-co...k-fiction.html
Please start using the new thread for any artistic or comedic works related to this thread, or to comment on others works.
Note: The new thread is not going to be a place to discuss this thread as a scientific topic! Any attempt to use it as a area to continue the serious aspects of this thread will be considered an attempt to circumvent staff actions (moving this to senseless banter) and could result in an infraction. The new thread is only for discussion of fictional/comedic original works based off of this thread. Thanks :)
:ghosttown:
I miss this thread.
Ok, THIS is VERY imPoRTanT and FUN-de~mental work in the subject of HALF stuff and I think it should WIN ME/I A/a Nobel Prize in Half Stuff, or perhaps a half of a Noble Prize in some kind of FULL STUFF.
Take a Pumpkin and hold it above the horizon with your visible/PHYSICAL hand. Notice that is is not full round, is it? No, your visible/invisible eye/mind/ penis gland (internal) sees only HALF Pumpkin. Note it is heavy and you can not hold it above the horizon for long? HOW CAN THIS BE? It feels as if it is still a full pumpkin, That is because it has full gravity, WHY IS THis, How CAN This Be? Go ahead and put the pumpkin on the ground/flat/earth, notice it is now a FULL PUMPKIN, yet it feel like noting!!!! I have discovered Zero Gravity in a whole pumpkin and full gravity in a HALF PUMPKIN!!!!!!!! ONly I am wise enough to know what this means. It should have been obvious to those supposed scientists who would try stupid things like using a scale.
COME ON GAB! you can see how important this is, MAKE them give me what I deserve!!!!!!!! I would have one at least half a Noble Prize by now if you did not poison the world against my brilliance. KISSes people, KISSes Gab, KEEP IT SILLY SIMBA! KISSes KISSes KISSes Gab KISSes.
Why's he smiling?
That's an amazing new discovery Sivason!
It's equal to Franc's Half something.
Let the world know about it!
Gab, don't hide! Confirm that this is fundamentally fundamental !!
Please, show that YOU are in charge here! :D
P.s. The Franc fiction thread without Franc himself could not run for long... seems we are still attracted here. But with no Franc and no likes...
Okay, now there's a Frank Fiction?
-claps-
^^Yep there is, but without Franc himself it lost it's (initially promising) momentum...
