We're all family here An alternative if you're not cool for the IRC chat. (Or just have problems logging in the IRC in general) You can start conversations about anything, as long of course it's leading a conversation with someone. Hope everyone has a happy Friday! And if a thread similar to this has been made, then I apologize in advance, please show me because I've been digging through the old threads for some time now. The whole point of this is to make some friends, have a decent conversation that you like to talk about with others, and to just make the community more than just inducing lucid dreams. We're human beings, we're gregarious, we love to keep talking if we know that person can relate to us, let's keep this thread for that. And you can always use quotes on the last conversation post you had with the person if someone else was talking another thing before you posted. Sure this may not be free-formed like the IRC, but it's an attempt to hopefully make everyone content. And of course if the conversation dies down (which it will because everything has to have a cooling point). Just introduce something else to talk about with someone (but if it is related to religion, etc, things that can make people argue, there are threads for that). Anime...What silly things a person said in real life that you thought was funny...a crush you've had for a while....lovers you want to meet in dreams . (Things like that) TL; DR version: (Still kind of long though >.>) If you have friends on Dreamviews that you want to talk to about something (since PMs have their limits) you can use that PM to say "Hey, would you like to talk about something with me?" And if they comply, then go ahead and come over here! But some of you will probably be good at starting conversations anyway that you don't need to PM We all have crap to deal with in our lives, and sometimes we feel the urge to vent it off by talking with others. (But if it's going to be emotional, the two threads above cover that) This is for non-emotional talk and rambling. Sure you can just start a conversation with others through their profiles, but if you want to talk to SEVERAL and can't use things like Skype, Facebook, etc., you can use here for that. Again, if you want to spam, you know how that will turn out. There's threads for posting random images and threads for posting random images and causing a chain reaction. (If there were several people at once in the IRC chatting, obviously it'll be a problem). And if there's an image related to the conversation (like showing a picture of your favorite character from a T.V. to someone) and it's going to be graphic, you can always use the "spoilers" to hide it for those who know what they're going to see. Obviously don't post porn, torrent links, or something illegal (Sure you might have conversations like "Oh my god you use a vibration app on your Blackberry??") but you don't have to show private parts for that. If it's going to be static, use another thread (like the hawt females thread that's just for the purpose of showing hot females), if it has the potential to be dynamic, you can use here. Of course this isn't going to be the ONLY place to keep things going (you can post video links too if it relates to the conversation). Whatever happens is what you make of it. This is just a variant.

And by the way, It's not going to be Snake and EVA, it's going to be ME and EVA...I can't hug a dude who does nothing but eat wild snakes and boars to survive while he's infiltrating military bases and whatnot. (Plus he's dead, and so is EVA, but I'm holding on to her younger years in MGS3) And thanks, yeah I have a problem with the contrasts, but I plan to get better as the years pass.
