Thread: Age of Empires II help

I know this is a longshot but here goes nothing:

My friend and i have aoe2. I have the conquerors expansion, and he has the gold version, which i think is pretty much the same as the conquerors. Since he has a mac, we can't play together on microsoft's gaming zone so we've been trying to play using a TCP/IP connection. The problem comes when he or I hosts a game and one of us enters the other's IP address. When we enter it, it shows the hourglass for a few seconds then displays no games to join. We're mad because it should show my game when he enters my IP, and it should show his game when i enter his IP.

I know this is a lucid dreaming site, but im desperate! If you know whats worng or know of a site that does, please relpy.
