What really amazes me is you guys who's native language is not English. Are you able to pick up on all of this as easily as we native speakers?

I can read a little German, but I know I would have a huge amount of trouble picking up on scrambled words.

      My non-German-speaking-ass attempt to translate:

"Are you sure, is it that hard?

How far off was I? I obviously don't speak any German at all.

Oddy enough it's the short, often used words like "waht" and "raed" that I had difficulty with while reading that.

haha yeah seriously. It doesn't even work very well for me.. paomnnehal threw me pretty bad.

Hey let's turn this tired old thread in a new direction..
this guy is one of my heroes. http://abcnews.go.com/WNT/Health/story?id=...d=830166&page=1

If you don't want to read that lengthy thing I'll cut to the chase. Is it necessarily better to be able to read these jumbled up things without thinking about them? Doesn't it mean that your perception is based more on motivation than on observation if you can breeze through this jumbalaya? Personally I'd rather stumble over typos than have my brain gloss over things without my permission.

That fact is well known to me. I figured it wasn't worth the time to add the implied "several times before." Too much strain on the fingers...

Those things just get worn out.

Aw... did you make that for me?

      One word, though: overkill.
